Did you guys notice that every movie Lana has contributed to is somehow set in the past?
Great Gatsby = twenties
Maleficient = medieval
Big Eyes = sixties (?) 
Age of Adaline = the protagonist was born at the turn of 20th century and the movie contains many flashbacks  
 
Just goes to show how effective and amazing her retro beauty queen/gangsta Nancy Sinatra aesthetic was. That baby landed her the H&M commercial and the Jaguar deal too

Actually makes a song that sounds similar to previous ones: "wtf the lyrics are terrible" "this is so boring" "omg awful"

I love her soundtrack songs. Also, I still listen to Young and Beautiful and Big Eyes

Why people need to be so negative about a ballad written for a movie? It doesn't need to sound different from her usual stuff because that's the reason why the producers wanted her on the soundtrack in first place. It's a classic ballad with a cinematic feel and it fits perfectly the tone of the trailer.    
 
But something about the timing of this release tell me this was last-minute decision to put her on the soundtrack ( maybe to get some buzz for the movie).

And there she is on the front cover , she has this masculine tone but looks ansutely gorgeous and it's very calmed .. Love it! Btw I saw this on Twitter "@LanaDReyCrew: Lana Del Rey will also be doing a cover story for AnOther Man magazine Spring/Summer 2015 issue!" ?? Is she covering the next issue as well?

And this is relevant how...

Not just the wrinkles, theres something in her expression too. Just something about the photoshoot has an older (read:mature) feel to it versus the beauty queen, vintage hipster look she had during BTD (not implying it was bad either). I just see her moving towards something else right now. Something more elegant and grand. And all just my opinion too, obviously.

Lana needs to release some news about this album so this thread can get back on topic.
 
I want her to do promo as in TV & Radio because I want to hear live performances in perfect quality as I enjoy listening to her singing live.

I think the Jazz lana is going for is more of an upbeat Amy whinhouse type sound with dramatic vocals and instrumentals . Nothing like gagas new stuff . Hopefully her new songs have better lyrics than "I'm a sad girl, I'm a bad girl X 20"

I'm happy that it's pushed as a single.

So possibly two new songs with Lana (Falling Apart + Wait For Life). We also got the snippet of Riverside from Barrie. If Brian Wilson posts a clip of "Last Song," I will die.
 
If all these songs came to fruition, my "Officially released Lana songs without an album" album would finally not be lonely. So far it's got Big Eyes, I Can Fly, Once Upon A Dream, and like four versions of Young & Beautiful.   Lana's so good to us. I don't think any of the the artists I follow are nearly as prolific as Lana is. Maybe Kesha, I don't know her unreleased too well.
