Thank you very much !

This is maybe a better place to ask this than the status bar: how can you change the title of a topic you created ? Thank you in advance !

I don't really know how the world responded to similar events back when there was just the press, then the radio, and then slowly television... I'm beginning to feel very tired at the regularity these sort of tragic events take place. Tired of all the grief it causes, it makes me lose hope.. But we mustn't !

Lana's own self title visual album is coming

I've learned now to expect anything in the Lana Del Rey universe. Hers is the realm of possibilities. Leaks, unfinished music videos surfacing, unexpected music videos after a period of drought (Freak was totally unexpected, I thought the era was dead, tbh) So... I mean, I'd love it if it was for another era, bring it on !

If she's making a video, this is truly a bizarre era...

As much as I like the Honeymoon video, I really don't like her lips make up. The color, the shape... It looks so weird to me !

I totally get your point and again, I share it. But I don't think you can draw parallels between those two situations. Americans who stand behind Trump are fully aware of what he stands for. He openly rambles about immigration policies, etc... So they're fully aware of his values (granted, they can be a bit flip-flopped, but that's another topic ) but what he's saying resonates within them. I see where this is similar but to me it's not the same thing. The EU was an economical union that helped a wounded Europe to build itself back up after a devastating war. It ensured political stability, human rights, a stable commerce etc... Of course, some goals are utopic and it has shown its flaws more than once recently but that doesn't mean it's a greedy corporation. I think this decision was based on lack of knowledge. Do people even know how european laws are decided ? Brussels doesn't decide. The Commission puts a proposition on the table and then the Parliament and the Council debate on it, fighting for the interests of their countries and trying to find a consensus. It's amended when needed and it goes back and forth. As simple as that... Last year, I had a course on the EU in the Media (I'm not a political expert, I'm just a student in Communications) and it's very interesting how certain British medias decided to back certain politicians. If you take some of my relatives who live in England, they're fed this kind of crap and don't mind reading further nor doing some research. Welp... The majority has spoken. It doesn't affect me in the least, I'm Belgian, but I'm genuinely worried about how things are gonna turn out for the "United Kingdom", now.

I'm not, I just think people were lead to believe certain things that were manipulated or downright false. Speaking about a second referendum : http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-politics-eu-referendum-36629324?ocid=socialflow_facebook&ns_mchannel=social&ns_campaign=bbcnews&ns_source=facebook They're considering a second one because a petition is being massively signed, however: haha, nice one !

I'm all for a debate, but a debate implies that people do a bit of research about what they're talking about. People were basically brainwashed that "Brussels", this enigmatic entity that no ones has power over, makes all the decisions and that the UK is big loser in all of this. Which isn't true. That's it. It isn't. Is the EU flawed ? Yes, on many levels. But how could one know what it really stands for and fight for if all you do is listen to certain national newspapers that say the EU steals your money ? The majority has spoken, but don't be surprised that the majority of youngsters who will have to face the consequences is outraged ?

In all honesty, I think the site is fine as it is, especially regarding its looks. But that's just me...

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/brexit-news-results-latest-nicola-sturgeon-second-scottish-independence-referendum-eu-referendum-a7100466.html Edit: "My source" (haha sounds so arrogant) corrects itself and says that there will be no new elections but rather, Cameron will have to designate a successor and he will then have to maintain the people's vote.

I'm simply relying what's being said in the corridors of the Commission (I know someone who works there and the conversations are lit). It's interesting as a piece of information considering the source, nothing more. But I agree, it would be somewhat anti constitutional.. It's a touchy problem because first of all NO country has ever shown signs of wanting to leave the EU. Ever. So it's a problem in the way that there has been no precedent and no one quite knows how to handle it. Second of all, the UK's press has ALWAYS dragged the EU, saying that "Brussels decided that" blablabla (in other words, implying that the UK has no power, and that "Brussels" decides for everyone). Which is complete bull because the meetings they refer to about actually involve every representative of every EU member and involve serious negotiation between all of them. In addition, the UK was led to believe that their money was being stolen. When actually the EU is giving them money like no other country. The UK has always had this position where they're part of the EU but to their conditions (they kept their pound, they always vetoed in order to favor themselves etc..) And finally, there are countless ways in which this will affect them: the pound will be a currency that will have to face much stronger ones, they'll have to ask visas now in order to come to Europe etc...

It's funny because on my Facebook feed, I have friends who live in the UK and who are completely appalled and regularly posted info videos about the benefits of the EU. And on the other hand I had family members who live in England and who strongly defended the Brexit. I honestly believe that this is a big mistake that can be attributed to the savage media campaign against the EU that has been going on for years. The amount of lies that I read is unbelievable ! But of course, if you're fed this kind of information, it's hard to abandon it and look elsewhere, especially if your worries and fears are tickled. Now, from what I gather, this is not final. David Cameron is resigning (probably due to the heavy pressure that other ministers put on him) and so new elections will be held. The new PM then can introduce a letter to the President of the EU to make the decision final. However, this would be unlikely, if the PM is from the Labour Party, since it's more in favor of the EU. A mess. If they do decide to leave the Union for good, I think they'll pretty soon feel the consequences. Starting with the ginormous subsidies that the UK demanded and that no other countries received.

I must have dreamed that red dress ! Thank you very much... I think that it's in one of those videos that I first learned she had this interest for jazz and would eventually go more in this direction.

I had NOOOOOOO idea she wanted to be an actor at first ! Also, does anyone remember those "advent" interviews she did around the release of BWET ? She had a red dress on, and a classy hair do.. And the concept was, they counted down the days to Christmas (or another holiday.. I think that or Thanksgiving)? I can't find them anymore !
