oh wow some Christians have decided in the past several years they dont hate gays anymore!!!!!??????  that totally makes up for all the horrific abuse of gays for centuries!  thank god i learned this!  now all the other stuff (like rampant misogyny, explicit endorsements of slavery and genocide, everyone being inherently evil, the actual apocalypse) doesnt seem as bad!!!

Ok but going to church regularly does not make someone a bible thumper?? She's always talked about God and her relationship with religion and always had religious imagery in her work, just look at Tropico. So idk why people are surprised she's been going to church. 
 
She seems a lot less interested in tapping into the dark side of things that inspire her as she's grown older. her darkest music is some of her best and I don't think we'll get anything close to those levels again as long as Lana is staying away from those topics

If Lana becomes explicitly Christian on NFR, I will seriously UNSTAN af.  Her fan base is primarily gays rite???  i guess now she's hit the mainstream, all the basic matcha loving leggins wearing vaguely christian straight white girls are all over her.  but DAMN GIRL like look at the world right now.  HOW IN THE FUCK does it make sense to become MORE religious?  religion is what got the world into this mess!  im very into "getting closer to God" but... uh....... girl not the God of the Bible. please. PLEEEEASE.  im much more into ariana grande's "god is a woman" thing and i dont even like her music.....

Yeah this is a good point. Her new friends don't really fit with the theory. Then again, they seem elitist to us - but maybe fame has blinded Lana so much that, to her, they are normal. Like, maybe Lana considers them "normal" because they're not actors/musicians. 
 
Lana always seems dressed down in comparison to them, though. It's strange.
