My fucking god if I hear one more person talking about the catholic church......... Can y'all stop playing dumb with this bullshit comparison? Lana was born catholic, as many people are. It's not a choice she made. Do you know any catholics? Do you know many catholics? I do, and I can't think of a single one under the age of 50 who's actually practicing. Not a single person. Even the ones that were sent to catholic school as kids. More than half of the people I know who were born into catholic families are only vaguely christian. Most catholics these days (elderly people aside) don't give a fuck about the church and its teachings. I don't remember ever seeing any pictures of Lana near a catholic church, and honestly, it wouldn't matter to me if she went to church (a catholic church) once or twice. I've been forced/pressured into going to church by family members in the past, it happens. Now, if she suddenly started going to church every Sunday and turned into a devout catholic? I'd feel the exact fucking same as I do now with Hillsong.

it really amazes me tho how anyone here can make up some far fetched theory or rumor about lana becoming a hardcore christian homophobe based on her going to a random church and everyone on here treating it as if its a fact... like uhmmm yall okay

Yeah it's pretty recent. I wouldn't blame Lana for not knowing, but hopefully she finds out soon.

To be honest I'm finding her personality really off putting lately. The auburn bimbo Lana back in 2012 was more bearable than how she is now.

Lanadelreyinfo on Twitter said the 3 NFR singles got a total of 68M streams on Spotify alone. Not bad for an album without a single lead, a release date and promotion.

She has a great deal of liberty but not 100% control over everything. Very few artists have in fact, unless you’re Beyoncé or Madonna or something.

Naively, I always thought that at this point in her career she had all creative control.

If we're bashing her for staying at some "homophobic hotel," can we also bash every artist performing at Coachella?

i really doubt lana knows anything about the hotels she stays at other than if they serve matcha tea.

It’s true Cinnamon is catchy. I love how we all have our personal reason for the NFR delay. The poetry book makes sense also. We just need fucking news!!!

If they agreed to release Honeymoon because of High By The Beach, they can easily agree to release NFR because of Cinnamon. It's a catchy pop song, a perfect single. With the production it's even as catchy as her BTD singles... So I don't think it's the case here.

I think it's all because of this damn poetry book and we're just reaching because of lack of actual info.  Remember when Tropico was also "coming soon" for a few months straight? I'm almost sure she then revealed it was all because of her personal organization problems. 

I was thinking the same, about the strategic date. It could be one of the reasons why NFR is delayed, though it could be resolved very quickly (Jesus, a look at a calender with releases takes 5 minutes). I think too there is something they don't «like» about NFR, and it very possible that it is because it has no real hit on it.

I don’t think this is the reason they’re not releasing the album. If it was ready then they already had the opportunity to release it before. I still think the problem is internal issues with the label, in her beats 1 interview she said that they asked why couldn’t she just release a normal pop song instead of venice bitch.
 
They were already complaining about wanting a proper pop single and then she released hope. Doesn’t make any sense, does it? After that months go by and no “real” single or album..
