it's actually ridiculous. If Adele sang Old Money, Terrence Loves You, or Heroin, she'd get so much praise and like 10 Grammys

It only matters if Interscope is « greedy » and absolutely wants a number 1 album with NFR. I’m pretty sure they want it to be successful. It’s also beneficial for her: every time she scored a number 1, she got a great deal of freedom for the next record (HM and NFR).
But to us fans, it doesn’t matter at all: we’ll buy or steam the damn thing whenever it comes out.

Yeah, it's a big year for female singers. Rihanna is also rumored to surprise drop her next album. Taylor and Beyonce are preparing something. Lana is «big», but to have a number 1 again, she must release NFR when the coast is cleared. 
I wonder how much in advance music companies know about coming releases. And are surprise drops known by the big shots of the other companies as well?

It’s interscope and polydor - no not just Billie it’s mutiple artists which are releasing. Madonna, Gaga. Ellie Goulding in the next few months. They probably want Lana to have her own space and Billie and her era has been successful so they want to milk it before people get bored of her and she tanks like Lorde. It seems resonable we will get a single in the next 2 months and an album between June and September.

She literally said they’re from the album at her New Orleans show. Can we quit it with that conspiracy theory

I’m actually starting to become excited again for how this album will sound in one listen. The haunting piano ballads transitioning to the psychedelic rock daydreams

Honeymoon truly was the best era. 15 months after UV (nobody was over it even a year after it), we had had 3 singles in the meantime (Big Eyes soundtrack and Wait for Life), the project pretty much stayed the same, tease of title track in June, track released in July, lead in August, 3 fan singles and the album in September. And what an album. Smart, minimal and cohesive release. None of this dragging on NFR shit.

One thing Lana doesn’t seem to be considering is that guitar and drums were trademarks of the Laurel Canyon sound.
 
I guess there were some Carole King songs centered around the piano, though. And Joni of course. I wonder if Lana is influenced by Jennie Pearl’s “Maybe in Another Year” from Ladies From the Canyon

It's time for a lead single and an album date! I really thought she would release in June, but that sort of means a single would need to drop this month and we haven't heard anything!!

There were a couple of complaints. Many said she was teasing too much, especially with White Mustang and Change (which had 2-3 snippets each). However, the snippets weren't released before God-knows-how-long before the album release. 

I don't remember this being an issue with the LFL snippets...

I thought when she posted that list about becoming an instagram baddie and closer to god she was mocking people and making a joke of it but it actually seems like it's what she's doing
