Futuretro might be retrofuture which  is a literature/art genre just like steampunk ( but in this case the future is described as something like the past). That Endless Summer tour stage really fits the whole aesthetic

She first described Ultraviolence as future jazz and that ended up being like her personal description of the record, so at this point future retro could mean anything ( )

Honestly makes me wonder if she gets beaten in her real relationships. I know she says not to take some of her lyrics literally but her answer in her Rolling Stone cover story seemed like she was skirting around the issue. She said something like "I mean, I guess I'm attracted to people with a strong physicality" when the reporter asked her about "he hit me and it felt like a kiss."

I really think so, as well. I don't believe it should be equated to BtD entirely.

Has everyone seen this? Like, it's nothing too interesting, mainly due to him not being allowed to say much and the questions mostly being extremely boring and useless, but it's something ....

I feel the same way. I was kind of surprised when I saw how many people didn't care for Paradise. Sometimes when listening, I think te production sounds "off" in some places, but I think Paradise is a strong example of how she approaches albums conceptually as a full body of work; not just a collection of songs. That's her strong suit, I think. And I trust that the album will be its own different and interesting entity, regardless of the fact that she somewhat equated it to BtD and Paradise.

Whenever I read  Honeymoon lyrics I think it's a direct continuation of Ultraviolence ( or at least thematically)

I never found any deep coherence in BTD or Paradise tbh.
BTD is a collection of songs about love, relationships. There are some potentially autobiographical songs (Video Games, Carmen, TIWMUG, Radio?), the rest are conceptual songs but they do not have great coherence (as a result I like most of the songs individually but not as much as an album)
Paradise is an Americana homage, a mixture of imagery and is very hard to name very personal songs to her (autobiographical). As in BTD,  it seems that she develops ideas rather than actual experiences or the experiences are deeply entrenched under the tropes she uses (in my view there is nothing wrong with that until the music is good and the lyrics aren't to cliched)
UV seems to me much more personal than the previous releases. I think that CW, SoC, WC are about her complicated relationship with Barrie, BB, MPG, FMWUTT are about her reception and her critics, OM and TOW are evoking situations when she imagines herself looking back on her life and career. UV is a conceptual song in my view (Who the fuck is Jim?) as is SG but regarding the latter I feel that she's evoking something more personal (her sexual insecurities, that she's only good as a mistress). Maybe is just my interpretation but in UV case I could do these interpretations, so I can listen to the album with the feeling that she's deeply involved with the songs. This is the reason why I like UV more than the first two releases 

Paradise is my favorite -- Tropico is my favorite thing of all time... it's actually what got me to listen to Lana

I enjoy listening to UV still, but I feel like I'm one of the only users who love Paradise, I think its a great piece of work. I'm not saying I want her to revert completely back to that sound or BTD, but I definatley don't want her to do another similar album to UV. Obviously I want her to progress with her work but I'm hoping its a progression based on BTD and P rather than UV if that makes sense.

Thanks @@VelvetNight!  (How many times have you changed your username now? LOL)  I did manage to get some rest last night.  For the record, smelly-hair guy wasn't the one yelling "Fuck me"; that was the guy on the other side of me.
 
BTW, turns out that my friend had to leave because she had a kidney transplant several years ago and has to take transplant meds every day at 11 PM.  Since she didn't have them with her, nor did she have any water in the pit, she had to leave to go take her meds.  But at least she got to see most of the show.
 
Another thing I forgot to mention:  @ got a shout-out from Courtney Love!  He had hoped to get center pit, but was way off to the left side.  He had a sign meant for Lana that said he was missing his Prom AND his dad's graduation from SDSU to attend the concert.  Apparently, Courtney saw the sign after she tossed a rose out to someone in that direction, and a person right next to him caught it.  She then said something like "Don't be an asshole, give it to the guy who missed his prom and his dad's graduation!"  So way to go, WCL.

I want a deluxe edition in a jewel case

I want Vinyl Singles like she did with BTD/Paradise again. I think a digipack would be nice. I want something extravagant for the vinyl, i don't know what but I'm sure she'll think of something. Don't really want Box set of 7" vinyls cause I would have to flip/change the vinyls after every song. Hoping for maybe a tropical scene, a lot like the Blue jeans shoot.
