Listened to EYEYE this morning, probably going to have another listen in the bath. I don't get how people don't love this record. I spent a long, dark night at the end of a 5 year relationship with it, and definitely...drew the line(s)...so to speak. Will always have a special place in my heart! Her best work FOR ME!

And Girl, so confusing of course. I still think I might say something stupid is incredibly misplaced. It should be before ITAIATT or not on this record at all. It really just murders the mood.

I agree. It would be recognized for being challenging. Especially that first section. It's obviously meant to be disarming. Unfortunately she's not here to talk about it, and people are not believing what Benny is saying.

There's an interview with triple j where Benny mentions that Charli came to listen to the album and provided feedback or something of the sort. So maybe she's just tied up with the tour. And I still have my little crackpot theory that her and A.G. will do something with the unreleased/unfinished work someday, so maybe she's gearing up for that, who knows.

After a few listens I do wish there was some alterations to the tracklist. Like maybe I’d move Rawwwwww after The Dome’s Protection and then include like Spliff In My Ear and Fly Bitch. Just so the sonic sections are a bit more fleshed out because I think they work really well in the later half of the record. But those are minor adjustments I can make on my own! Really happy we got so many “new” tracks instead of just all the already leaked stuff people were hoping for. Makes this release more special and exciting. I do hope there are more releases coming from other artists because I don’t want it to be over.

What's going on...

Why do people lie about stuff like this? You crave attention that much? Not only is is frustrating as a fan to get your hopes up and have them dashed like that, it’s also particularly rude in this instance. Especially on her birthday. Have some respect.

If there is nothing on the album I’m inclined to believe it would be Charli’s choice, or that her and A.G. have plans to do something with the work they created separate from this project eventually. That might be wishful thinking, though.

In my world the ideal tracklist would include Spliff In My Ear, WGFU, Makeover, and any one of the Big Freedia collabs.
