It was cute. I think she didn't sell this properly. It's not as dance-y as I was expecting, even on a trance level, some of the songs take a bit too long to build to what they want to do and then they're over. Wanderlust is awful. Childlike Things would be great without North on it. I liked everything else. Sticky is a career highlight! She made that one for girls like me. Better than Caprisongs on a first listen. Excited to sit with it more.

Yeah, it was nice and I enjoyed it but it won't go on replay like Preacher's Daughter did. Hopefully will tide me over until b-sides come out. I really enjoyed Punish, Vacillator, and Amber Waves. Great tracks.

when she re-re-releases BRAT with Make you mine as track 4 instead of I might say something stupid and moves it to right before I think about it all the time where it belongs!! oh Charlene!

Crash and Sucker are clearly her worst efforts. HIFN is her magnum opus followed by Pop2 and BRAT. It’s as simple as that.

Listened to EYEYE this morning, probably going to have another listen in the bath. I don't get how people don't love this record. I spent a long, dark night at the end of a 5 year relationship with it, and definitely...drew the line(s)...so to speak. Will always have a special place in my heart! Her best work FOR ME!

I agree. It would be recognized for being challenging. Especially that first section. It's obviously meant to be disarming. Unfortunately she's not here to talk about it, and people are not believing what Benny is saying.

There's an interview with triple j where Benny mentions that Charli came to listen to the album and provided feedback or something of the sort. So maybe she's just tied up with the tour. And I still have my little crackpot theory that her and A.G. will do something with the unreleased/unfinished work someday, so maybe she's gearing up for that, who knows.
