Love her laugh!  I could listen to her all day, whether she is singing, speaking, or laughing.

The interviewer only posted the preview yet, you can find it here:

Description: Lana talks about her upcoming album Ultraviolence and her new tattoo prior to her not-so-secret gig that night.
Update: Listen to the whole interview!

She says she's a shy performer but takes refuge in the love her fans show her at her shows, I don't blame her for cancelling tbh! I bet she was so nervous, like it's clear she takes the critical opinions to heart so it may be best for her happiness not to risk a cruel backlash again?
That being said, I am sad she won't be appearing, I was really looking forward to it

40k on preorders? That's more than half as much as BTD first week sales, and almost as much as Paradise first week sales. With 3 weeks before the official figure is released, there might be some good news in store for our girl

I don't think Lana cares too much about the charts (just a guess), but I'm hoping we can make UV #1 just as a big fuck you to all the haters.

She's the second artist on WW Itunes since she released the pre-order, I don't think this might be considered a flop or whatever. Also a lot of people just buy an album after its released, only die hard are buying right now. To compare her with Taylor Swift if very unfair, I think she is like Arctic Monkeys in this way - she accomplished a lot for an artist that don't have any radio play in mainstream radio on US, only is some countries in Europe.

Tropico is underrated, probably due to having no promotion on the record label side (apart from uploading the movie on Vevo, duh). Look at how Lana trying so hard to promoting herself using social networks.

3 music videos - chances for promoting Paradise right there!

30 minutes of hard-working, artistic and beautiful visuals and end up being the lowest view video of Lana ever!

Even 10-minutes 'Ride' Youtube video has >10 times more view than Tropico

Is anyone else surprised that she's performing on tv? I thought she wouldn't after the fiasco 2 years ago even tho she's improved immensely. oh well she's gonna do so well I'm excited I hope she performs Ultraviolence

I feel like thats the kind of thing you would write in a letter and say ykno? like there's a difference between 'you inspire me' and 'i used to pray to your music every night' idk bless him for having the courage to say it but it reminds me of those awkward moments when you're talking to your friend about something and then suddenly they're like 'oh i cut myself yesterday' and it has no relevance to anything you were talking about and you're left feeling awkward because you don't know what to say

Oh well she handled it well tbh

I'm bit surprised to see so many negative comments about this "interview". I genuinely think he was being honest and all he wanted is to tell her about the impact of her music in his life. I know a lot people here are fans of other 100 artist and foruns but for some people music  REALLY can change their lifes. He met the person that changed his life, I don't judge he wanted to share with her how important she is to him. It's natural if you think how much time we spent of our lives in the company of music.

Most of her fans have depression issues and see themselves in the lyrics. Music gets you through deep shit...

Well, that's why i said "would be" ^^

And don't call me disrespectful, I've got lots of social workers in my family, I know what the job is about and that it's not all fun and games.
I just wanted to say that she's a good person and would have been qualified for this job tzoo if she wouldn't have become a singer.
"Don't put labels on people" as you said so nicely.

Bless Lana for handling that situation with such grace. I completely understand wanting to tell someone how much they have helped you with your personal struggles, but on camera and in front of a group of fans hyped up for a show is not the place to drop a bomb like that. Yes, Lana's music and story has helped me (I'm getting sober and it does help hearing what she went through and seeing where she ended up) but at the end of the day, I didn't decide to base my personal choices off of lana. I did it for me, just as I assume this guy did, if in fact he was thinking of suicide. I have a lot of respect for lana with how she handled that entire situation. It was awkward and she acted like it was the most normal thing in the world and went on to make this guy's night. You can see her social worker training has stuck with her for all these years.

I think were all just hoping so.... The fact that she has him on tour with her , is using his name in Ultraviolence .. and he has written 2 songs (that we know about) for her could indicate one of 2 theories FOR ME.

1 she needs him as a muse and is still holding onto her relationship with him and needs him to keep her good(clean)?....
    OR
2 she is retelling  the tales of her unreleased songs for us  and jimmy is an important stories she wants to fully tell. and he is just on tour with her to boost his fame.?.

Im pretty much ok with either of these things being true, but the fact that she Premiered  Ultraviolence live  the way she did makes me feel like it was for him like it was unexpected. he could have been  hearing it for the first time just like everyone else, Then when she is speaking the Spanish lines in the song she looks so embarrassed and shy  like school girl Lizzy :3

can't describe my love for this song in words...it's so quintessentially American and it really encompasses everything the Lizzy Grant era. fml, i can't believe this never got an official release, i wanna shout from rooftops about how good it is

and that live performance! the best she's ever sung IMO and she's so into the song, you can tell by the way she sings it
