  1. Miss steak is that girl a knew she was. What a generous king.
  2. I don't think 'Chemtrails' was rushed. The album was done by the time she first announced it, and I mean done recording, according to Jack they never really stopped recording music after the so called "NFR sessions". I honestly think that she had recorded so much material in 2018 with Jack that she was able to make those two records back to back. Can't really say the same about 'Blue Banisters' though.
  3. My list: Venice Bitch Text Book Not All Who Wander Are Lost Endless Shore by Melody Echo Chamber Endors Toi by Tame Impala White Dress Alter Ego by Tame Impala Resistance Summer Wine by Nancy & Lee telepatia by Kali Uchis
  4. 'Chemtrails' should've gotten the white vinyl and 'Blue Banisters' baby blue or something.
  5. I thought it'd be fun to compare for funsies.
  6. I was a big fan of 'Born to Die', then 'Paradise', both of these were on repeat from mid 2012 all the way through mid 2014, but I think I went from fan to stan when she dropped 'Ultraviolence'. Granted, I'm not the most avid pop listener, but I did enjoy the album and EP a great deal, 'Ultraviolence' just cemented how I felt about her as an artist. I will never get over how shook I was listening to 'West Coast' the first time. I remember waking up at 5am to listen to it when it got release, being fascinated, going back to sleep, then proceeding to listen to that song on a continuous loop for weeks. To this day, this is the only song that I was obsessed with from the first listen, I usually like her songs or they grow on me over the first initial listens, but 'West Coast' had me enthralled from the getgo.
  7. I've been thinking about this for a moment. I feel like had Lana done things differently with 'Chemtrails' it would've gotten a different, perhaps more positive response from the fans. Imagine had she release the album as a surprise, didn't announce it in that post, cut both 'Let Me Love You Like A Woman' and 'For Free' and present the album as some sort of sister/companion EP to 'NFR!', or like her favourite songs from the so called 'NFR!' sessions or something; I honestly think it would've been lowkey perfect and more appreciated. I still enjoy most of the album a great deal, but I get why it's being underappreciated. ETA: Use a different picture for the cover, even though I know the COCC cover discourse has been beaten to death. I'm still underwhelmed by both the official and alternate cover.
  8. I remember some people being underwhelmed with the album and criticizing the so called "Ultraviolence microphone" thing, but I also remember people being shook every time she released a single (especially 'West Coast' ). As other people mentioned it I feel like Paradise/The Paradise Tour was an obvious transition from pop to rock as well. Personally speaking that was the best rollout/era even though it was kinda short lived.
  9. 'The Other Woman' IS her best cover.
  10. Vinyl records have become crazy expansive in the past 2-3 years
  11. We're literally only two people standing in line
  12. Only hot girls care enough about Chemtrails to stand in line at the record store.
  13. On my way to the record store, they said they only officially received five copies. Hopefully no one cares about Chemtrails, let alone Lana.
  14. It's camp, she's a comedienne.
  15. This is the right thread for that cause girl...
  16. Um. Pretty sure BB was released after the submission deadline. Besides BB is Grammy material.
  17. I keep thinking about how funny these nominations are, the way Tik Tok took over the Grammys
