Oh no I saw Chunk's post and was hoping people were just jumping to conclusions about what it meant but then I came here

Are you actually? It's so on-brand for her to ghost people, even if they are music legends

Wot I'm not sure why you'd think she'd think that and I honestly doubt that she gives a fuck She drops an album and then goes away and lives her life for a few years until she feels like dropping another There's no indication at all that she thinks she's God's gift to music. Maybe when she was younger but not now

The committee members just make stuff up to suit whatever the narrative is for the year Mustin should be spending his money on soap not Grammys

Honestly surprised at Katy just because she seems to be the exact type of artist they love

I was quietly hopeful until Jack Antonoff showed up again Does he put crack in his studio's espresso maker or what? Why can't talented women stay away

I find it really funny for some reason I think because it embodies how she does absolutely everything. Chaotic, unplanned, and indecisive People can try to stansplain it all they want but it just seems so bizarre I'm surprised she hasn't opened it and then gotten distracted and forgotten to close it for 4 days or something
-
I missed it again and I thought I'd give more of a fuck but if I'm only missing out on Jack Antonoff content, then Not really a compelling reason to drop everything when she opens it, is it

Omg I think I only know one song of his but whenever he is mentioned I'm always reminded of when Lily Allen said she met him and he "rhymes with his surname"

I agree about the Picasso reference but let's not pretend that these lyrics are any worse than countless others in the other songs. The singles have some of the worst lyrics on that album and at least Beautiful has an actual, proper piano whereas it sounds like Mike Dean (who imo is overrated af) borrowed Jack's Fisher-Price keyboard for Wallflower Not to mention she serves actual vocals in Beautiful instead of the shrill, borderline-whiny declarations found in Text Book Beautiful is a good song and having to put aside some cringeworthy lyrics to like a song of hers is nothing new

Before I read the lyrics I thought it was your INCHES made stacks because I thought she was talking about the shoes (as in heels) No wonder I couldn't work out wtf she meant -
