"The Endless Summer" was probably the most famous surfing movie of all time.  It came out a long time ago (1966) and is about some surfers who travel the world looking for the best waves to surf.  With her interest in the Beach Boys, it seems unlikely Lana is unaware of the connection.  For example, summer in Australia is December to February.  I think it will be a world tour.

Are we comletely ignoring that the the model who's about to play her guy in the video used emojis that could easily hint at MTWBT? I mean call me reaching but he starts with two music notes (Music), then two cameras (To Watch) and then continues with three sports emojis, two of them feature boys doing physical activities (Boys To). I'm not the one to make crazy fan theories and I know this could be complete bs so don't even try to skin me alive but it was the first thing I thought of when I saw the caption & I thought everyone else thought the same?

Maybe she just likes the word honeymoon sonically. She likes the mix of the words 'honey' and 'moon' because 'honey' reminds her of a sunset in the morning and 'moon' reminds her of the night and she thinks that's interesting because night and morning are kinda the opposite of each other. Also she really likes the word 'moon' because it reminds her of space and she loves space and finds it way more interesting than feminism and just life in general.

....Anyways. Can we talk about how Patty(lana's mom) is being a little tease about honeymoon on twitter? For UV rob teased west coast with subliminal tweets and now patty is teasing honeymoon...

"There are roses in between my thighs and fire that surrounds you" is a really weird lyric

The lyric should have been  "There are roses in between my teeth and flames all around you"

We all know she became disillusioned with music industry/fame. She played the fame game for too long and when she finally achieved her dream it didn't feel like success. Whenever I read this interview I miss the old 24 years old Lana who was obsessed with fame:

"I'm talking about epic, knocked-down, dragged-out love stories in song. That's what I'm heading towards. I want to destroy lives with my music and to understand the glamour of danger(...). I know a lot of different people. When they are drunk, in the dark of the night they all want the same thing. They all want to be famous. It's innately human to want other people to bear witness to your life. It's important for people to be watched. They don't want to be alone. I don't want to be alone."

I feel this Lana would do anything to achieve success (and she did it). But right now  she isn't the same 24 years old Lana anymore. Her perception of music, career and success has changed.  Her interviews in UV era just make clear isn't about  moving people with her music anymore but is much more important how things are for her. Is she really wrong ? I don't know, take for example an artist like SIA - she doesn't tour or do promo regularly. A lot of indie acts do a lot of "media tour" ( talk shows, radios performances, videos) and so on but mostly of them can't really really find any chart success.

LOL she's so cute  Ok let's make #FloridaKilosLIVE a thing then. She could sing it after Off to the races and it would be the best concert closer   That "X-files" beat must sound so good live

She once said in an interview that she didn't like being drowned out by fans, as it made her feel like her songs didn't belong to her anymore, right? Maybe that's why she sang unreleased- cus she knew these hoes had no idea what she was singing and couldn't ruin it for her!!!

It'd be cool if she did something like Trilogy by The Weeknd with her unreleased material. Like, re-record old songs and put them out on mixtapes/EP's and then release it as one huge product.

I know I'm repeating myself but I can't help to emphasize how I feel like this was a definite turning point in perhaps her career, it was lightyears away from what we could have expected and I feel like this is completely game changing. I have no idea how the industry or the record houses work so I don't know the implications but I have so many questions too. She could change anything in seconds by deciding either to never play these songs again (but hearing her speech I don't think it'll be the case) or by playing them more and more or what do I know else.

Also I don't know if these Neon Dreams rumours are true, but that would be the icing on the cake, I have a gut feeling that she's determined to reclaim her fame, for x reasons, to forget Ultraviolence (I would be sad if it was this though) or something, but in her reactions to the critics in the article cited above or the fact that she sang the song because she WANTED to, she seemed to have a bit of a renewed fuck you attitude and I'm so here for this.

Serial Killer though. I'm still not over it. This song is my life. Her pleasure seemed palpable. And she looked so hoooot. I'd give my right kidney to watch it live

First of all, let me acknowledge and be grateful that this performance is not another Poolside-gate. Fair enough that it's a show, of a tour, so expectedly people will record, but still... was trying not to hype myself too much when people posted the rehearsal snippets.

But it's here, and thank you again, for everyone that record and uploaded the performance, esp. Serial Killer.
Somehow listening to it give me this nice, eerie, nostalgic atmosphere of that time when we all first get to know each other and was geekily super excited over anything and everything Lana #mustbethestrings
