  1. It relies to much on cheap shock effects, the characters are weak and the story is boring and predictable, none of the characters is likeable or at least written/portraied well, Gaga literally plays herself, they killed Queenie ....
  2. Honestly at this point every second post is you talking about leaks or Itunes NZ
  3. Geez this whole "Itunes NZ" talk ... those few hours before the album will drop in your own country does not really make that much difference when we waited for so long
  4. Reaction videos are the cancer of the social-media generation.
  5. Born To Die was the album I became a Lana fan with. I fell in love with Video Games when it hit the radio stations and Born To Die (the track) really got me hyped for this album. I listened the sh*t out of it and I rarely really play it by now. But each song kind of feels like an "old friend" and makes me a bit nostalgic. Paradise has this feeling of both freedom but also fragility for me. I don't listen to it very often, but i really love it when I do - every track evokes so many emotions. I played that a lot around the time I got my driving licence - I was driving around a lot and I also had a big crush on a straight boy by then. So Paradise kind of was my "soundtrack" by then, as cheesy as it may sound. Ultraviolence is still my favourite Lana album. I was soooo excited during the time it came out, I love the raw, emotional vibe and the more rock-ish, low-fi sound and I love how she really changed up her game for this recoird. It's still among my favourite albums and I love listening to it during summer. Honeymoon feels like the most mature album she has done yet. It's glamorous and I like the "escapism" vibe some of the tracks have, while others feel like a very hot afternoon. It's monotonous when listened to in full, especially the second half, but it's beautiful and every track on it is great. Took me some time to fully appreciate, but by now I love it.
  6. Yeah. The concept of the track was always interesting but the snippet was ... not really telling much about the song. At least in my opinion. It's nice but it's hard to say how the song will sound.Since Eclipse said it's a rework of SR, there could be "horror-strings" and I could imagine it having a trapbeat kicking in, similar to Cherry and White Mustang. Could be q more quiet ballad aswell. However, the fact she includes the sample from "Carnival Of Souls" is just super cool ... on the one hand, since horror-Lana is now an official thing and it makes the creepy strings seem pretty likely, on the other hand because the movie (and the monologue she's quoting) just fits in so well as a metaphor for trying to escape some paparazzis
  7. Well it was @La Dolce Vita who Discovered it though I don't think all of the monolgue is in the snippet, I justlooked it up again and quoted it here since I thought it just made so much sense for her to use this references in a song about desperately trying to escape paparazzis
  8. The full monologue is "They're everywhere, they're everywhere. They're not going to let me go. Everywhere I turn, there's something blocking my escape. It's trying to prevent me from living." It makes so much sense and it really gets me excited for this track!
  9. OMG I love this movie! I'm glad Lana officially will release this track and it gives me hope it'll actually feature "horror strings"
  10. Come on guys, it's coming out on friday. We waited so long, it won't kill us to wait a few more days
  11. It's not about romanticising the hippies but the "golden hippie age" as some sort of peaceful time when it was not. Maybe she's talking about people having the hippie-mindset though.
  12. The alternative mix flows better. The "White lines and black beaches" part sounds better at the beginning of the track. I also really like the backing vox she does during A$AP Rockys part and the humming in the beginning. And I also LOVE the daisy chains lne, which is sung more often in this version. The only thing that sounds off is the beginning. Should have just been piano and her humming before the verse kicks in. However, I did not listen to it too much because that just makes me sad that it won't be on the final version of the album. The album mix is nice aswell She says it only once in the album version. The YT version (the one you get as a ownload if you order the CD on her site) is the alternative one.
  13. I also thought she was a bit naive there and I'm afraid she really means it like this. She's into the vibe of this era so much that she apparently romanticises it too much to have a clear view on it
  14. If it would I guess everyone should be able to download shouldn't we?
  15. Or stable. Maybe it's enough to just be what we are because
  16. a) he talks about Get Free b) it's most likely a bug anyway
  17. Those Change lyrics and the background they have actually really hit hard Would never have expected an acoustic masterpiece like that on an album that features Lust For Life
  18. OMG WHERE IS THE CANCELLED TLY VIDEO ?!?!?!?!!!
  19. So she just posted almost two minutes of the track ... maybe we'l get it as the last promo track next week before the album drops. It's funny how just today we found that random german interview where she talks about the song and now she posted such big parts of it
  20. Well, she sings "honest" but when I translated "fähig" with able, she sings "capable".
  21. Wow, my translation was almost right xD Sounds better than I expected it to sound.

    Lorde

Well, but where is the lie. If I want to SING ALONG I don't need to go to a concert where I could listen to some f*cking godly LIVE VOCALS. And yeah, liek I said, I don't mind it if it's when the singer asks for it or when it's a big hit, but people actually SCREAMING the lyrics during every f*cking song and ballad is just disgusting and disrespectful towards the artist. Whys hould Lorde sing live if noone can hear her anyway? She may aswell pull a Britney.
  23. I think her face looks weird on all of the pictures from the LfL booklet shoot, minus the Coachella single artwork. Not sure whether it's te pictures, the makeup or just the way she's messed with plastic surgery
