  1. The fact she's still not released the WM video is as shocking as many gays actually craving another awful cringeworthy monologue
  2. She does not deserve to be on Twin Peaks for being such a lazy "artist"
  3. How dare you! TNC is great. I was talking about the shit-became-a-pop-track-for-gay-tumblr-teens song LfL or the embarassing "Ol' McDonald Has A Farm" production on GBA.
  4. The Coachella bashing is getting boring. The song may not be her strongest one but LfL has worse tracks
  5. The way they are on the album version is the most logical version though. The lyrics from this performance and the demo version are just all over the place
  6. the lyrics are still not making sense and the sound, although seemingly good (her vocals are terrible here), would not have fit BtD
  7. Cherry and Body Electric always sound so f*cking good but then she keeps butchering SoC
  8. But I feel like AKA is pretty cohesive though not UV-level but like BtD-esque.I understand what you're trying to say but that's kind of the point - LfL is a nice collection but not an interesting album
  9. Honeymoon was monotonous, that's true. But it's overall quality as an album is much higher than LfL's IMO. It was very mature and the sound of all the songs was on point. LFL has a lot of fresh and interesting vibes but as an album it's pretty messy and feels more like a collection of songs than an album. The tracks are fresh yet parts of the album sound much less artistic than Honeymoon was. Lyrics and production are lacking on some of the tracks aswell. So overall I think LFL is pretty weak as an album .
  10. On the one hand you are right about unnecessary hostility. But the problem with off-topic-ness has been brought up a thousands time already and still it's always the same people who don't seem to understand that a FORUM has DIFFERENT THREADS for DIFFERENT TOPICS and post about non-related stuff over and over again. I don't mean to justify the rudeness, but it's not like it came out of the blue now you disappoint me hun
  11. Off To The Races live version is great but her performance in it is terrible. She's just mumbling around, only singing half of the lyrics. Apart form Video Games and perhaps Born To Die, there is no need for BtD tracks. Summertime Sadness and Blue Jeans are ok for frstivals but not for her own shows. Same for Ride - it's ok for festivals but it's not exciting enough to still be part of her own concerts. Body Electric is great live though, especially as an intro. I don't get why she's ditching West Coast. It's a great tune, a lead-single and it was perfect live.
  12. Still no need to pour random stuff into this thread. There are a lot of other threads or the status update tool. You are not forced touse this thread
  13. He has a point though. People here are seemingly not abel to tell their twitter wall and a thread in a forum apart
  14. Not really. Just tired of her needing thousand of years to release sh*t
  15. nah, it's the same melody. But the trumpets play the part the strings did in the past
  16. The radio mix of Summertime Sadness is much better anyway, with this stripped back chorus towards the end. Ut yeah, would have made a great closer!
  17. although the production is more interesting the lyrics don't make any sense and the final version fits the album better. HOWEVER I think the european radio mix is much better and could have replaced the album version
  18. Probably. But to be fair, it's been quite a while since she studied and it's not like her career has a lot to do with staying in touch with philosophy as a science. Plus it was a 18 minutes interview and she probably was not expecting them to focus it on that subject
  19. sad thing that this is going to happen one day if she keeps doing this "filming while driving" shit. She's setting a real bad example for her fans, who due to their teenager-esque tumblr-nature are already likely to do shit like that (I remember people here blogging about driving while being drunk because they were hungry for dick and though it was cute to be a wasted twen or how they drive while wearing headphones)
  20. I think it's actually a pretty nice interview, especially this little text that introduces it. It's weird but honestly - which questions are left to ask about LfL at this point?
  21. Lol Lana fucked up her face big time, especially her nose.During BtD she had this slightly artificial beauty but by now all the fillers and adjustments to her lips tool a lot of that away. If she does not stop she'll be a ruin in a few years
  22. BtD is iconic. It established her as an artist, although the BtD-Lana is actually extremely different from anything she's ever done afterwards. The visuals, the persona, the whole era's vibe ... everything was so on point. She also kind of introuced a new "era" of retro-fashion and trailblazed a path for alternative pop artists. UV was spectacular because it was such a big shift considering persona, sound and visuals. Honeymoon and Lust For Life are good albums and less controversial. However, they are not as "big" as her first two records and profit a lot from the quality established by the first projects. If it would not have been for BtD and UV, those two albums would not have worked they way they do.
  23. you are late to the party hun
