Yeah, I'm still excited for her album, singles can be misleading. But I remember "You Cover Me" got me superexcited when it was released as promo back in the day and none of the new singes manage to do that for me. But I guess The Unknown was just my fav Dillon album in general

Honestly, no. I loved her more experimental and dark sounds from The Unknown and some of the more "alternative" stuff from This SIlence Kills. As nice as her voice is, the new songs showcase it's weaknesses and the production is so ... forgetable IMO.

Let's see .... Cringworthy as hell. Trying extremely hard to be creepy, edgy and meaningful in all the cheap ways. 1001 cliches used without any kind of detectable self-irony. Does not even try to do something different than all of the other Cry Baby videos that came out after Carousel, Dollhouse and Sippy Cup. Uses a song from a two year old album that has aged just as bad as it's concept. She really has a big career coming I guess.

Nothing is more embarrassing to listen to than the basic, shitty track that is LfL with it's bland lyrics, it's lacking production and Abel's so called "vocals". Don't even try to drag a great song like 13 Beaches for that piece of garbage.

All of it is ugly and basic and if you guys really spend that much money on that half-assed shit, never complain about her laziness again

Y'all are so lucky seeing videos. I only see a lackluster tour, with the only non-BtD songs being Body Electric, Cruel World and Cherry. Maybe Ride, Change and Shades Of Cool if she's in a good mood that evening. And after that, we are dry until August 2019.

Still better than most of the fan suggestions for outfits and visuals. I did not say her stuff is not kitschy or cringy at times, but people really want to to BLOW with second-hand-embarassing

Oh god, that sounds like a bad, fanmade mashup. Don't even know who's worse. Khalid's hyper-auto-tuned and whiny voice, SZA's superbasic, boring and bland wannabe-popsinger vocals or Post Malone's irrelevant appearance towards the end. Embarassing, pointless and just --- terrible.

what does singing on the moon have to do with Love? What does any part of the WM video has to do with the track?

Yeah, the editing is extremely anticlimatic. The song works because the sound changes when the drums kick in during the chorus but the video just goes on and on without any kind of momentum. I expected nice scenes of her driving through the city during the chorus. There is no plotline aswell. But hey, the visuals are nice and it's not like this kind of terribly edited videos are something new - just think of Freak or MTWBT.

Groupie Love does not deserve a MV, I don't get why everyone wants one so hard.

Ultraviolence - rock Lana is the best Lana and she should further explore this sound. Heroin definitly has this violent, hot l feeling a lot of UV tracks had and Cherry is a bit reminiscent of Pretty When You Cry's emotional rawness. The more rock-ish live versions of some of her tracks are bliss aswell. So yeah, UV is definitly a sound she should revisit for another album. Not in a 2.0 kind of way, but more as a more grown and mature approach to that sound.

LfL does not have visuals. Everything is messy and all over the place, so it can't really be "more thought of".

Froot is her most bland album. But since the songs are less "deep", they are easier to listen to
