  1. You are kind of right ... while Born To Die is an incredibly iconic and exciting track with great production and a beautiful display of vocals, Lucky Ones is boring, lifeless and makes you less sad the record is over. it's good that it's the closer, otherwise we'd always be bothered to skip it. Apart from that, BtD's actual album-closer is TIWMUG.
  2. You Can Be The Boss Kinda Outta Luck Us Against The World
  3. Serial Killer, You Can Be The Boss and Us Against the world would be great and it would make sense since she performed them live. Kinda Outta Luck could happen aswell.
  4. The fact she's "considering" to release those 25 tracks makes it obvious it'll never happen. I could imagine her putting out Yosemite and perhaps even Architecture. HoweverIF she does the 25 tracks I'd hope she put Serial Killer, YCBTB and UATW on it.
  5. All those f*cking snippets are so annoying. Just take a smaaalll risk and actually perform something other than the usual tracks. Noone cares for some acapella sh*t
  6. I am the last one to rant because someone does not give a good review to my favourite artists. But nothing about his reviews on Lana is "accurate". He's one of those "she got lip-injections, therefore she's evil"-bandwagon-haters. He completely bashes her whenever he can, he did not even really talk about the music for his UV review. He's just a hater and he can't let it go. Looking at some of his other reviews, he is definitly NOT acting this way with everyone. He's always trying to be super picky in order to appear professional, but he's never as unfair as he is with Lana.------ BUT turning up on his channel or twitter in order to insult him is the worst thing you can do. This fanbase's immaturity is shedding a bad light on Lana, when they get mad as soon as someone critisizes ANYTHING about her
  7. the song really gives me this kind of visuals. I really hope we get the photoshoot so we can make fan-covers
  8. She really looked so ... Amy ... during this performance
  9. Oh, so it's just another excuse for her to rely on heavy backtracks thought she'd come up with a better way to censor it.
  10. She said she would not want to sing the "he hit me and it felt like a kiss" line anymore ... any news on that?
  11. I think you are taking it a bit far but the theory about her carying a gun for defense makes sense. "Even walking alone, I'm not worried. I feel your arms all around me" always made me think about something like that. I think the gunshots in the chorus are a parody of romanticising american culture, just like she did it herself in Ride. Especially since they sound so ... goofy
  12. Yeah, the verses sound so sultry and the pre-chorus is so dark and beautiful ... andt hen there is the "naaahahahaaaaaw, it's only the beeeeeginniiiiiiinnnnnng ahahahahahahaaa" part, which kind of ruins that vibe.
  13. Ultraviolence. Rock influences and low-fi vibes >>>>>>>
  14. It's cute for the radio but boring in my opinion. Can neither get into the lyrics nor the production. It's forgetable and it's annoying me by now
  15. My ranking 1. Cherry 2. 13 Beaches 3. In My Feelings 4. Summer Bummer 5. Heroin 6. White Mustang 7. Tomorrow Never Came 8. Change 9. WTWWAWWKD 10. Beautiful People, Beautiful Problems 11. Groupie Love 12. Get Free 13. God Bless America - AATBWII 14. Coachella - Woodstock In My Mind 15. Love 16. Lust For Life Now rant
  16. I think Cherry - WTWWAWWKD and BPBP - Get Free feel like two pretty coherent parts, although they don't fit together. Love and LFL feel commercial and pop-ish and don't get along with the rest
  17. Love and Lust For Life (and the album photoshoot) just seem like they are from a different record. They don't fit the rest of the album and they don't make good openers. It feels like a Spotify playlist that features the two most sucessful and commercial singers at the beginning. The rest of the album (which is already quite incoherent) feels so disconnected from those songs and the visuals from the Neil Krig shoot fit it much better
  18. Great interview. I love how honest she is and all her political comments made me appreciate the more-or-less political tracks much more. And her being aware about how it's not appropriate to romanticise Murica anymore
  19. You talked like we were talking about facts considering "Your logic is flawed"I'm not reaching, that's my opinion and I never shared the common opinion on Coachella anyway. It's not good but it's not as terrible as people make it seem. In my opinion at least.
  20. 1. Ultraviolence 2. Honeymoon 3. Paradise 4. Born To Die 5. Lust For Life
  21. It's called taste. Stop acting as if those are facts when they are individual felings. You may like LFL as a track, I do not and I probably would not even like it if it wasn't for the Weeknd. I'm not a fan of Coachella but I think it's better than LfL. You may think LfL is her best album, I do not and I'm unsure whether 90% of people who say it is will actually feel like that after the excitement about the release has faded. Also, I'd suggest you stop telling me what to do
  22. It's not Coachella (featuring The Weeknd) ... so yeah, it is
  23. Yeah, he really seals it's fate as the worst track on the record.
  24. The first part is so extremely beautiful but this breakdown after the second chorus rel Ally decreases the albums quality. It may be authentic but it's not pleasing for the ear if she's just shouting. These "oooaaaooooaaaahs" soubd so out of tune and like something she'd do on one of her old laptop demo, it completely makes you forget the beauty of the first part. The "and shit"-s are a new low of her lyricism. The biggest problem is that the last part is almost as long as the first two verses with chorus. Still like this song, but I really don't know why she thought it was neccecary to add those trashy vocals at tge end of it.
