Recently discovered her music. My copy of Masseduction arrived in the mail today. I AM IN LOVE. it's honestly all I've been listening to these past few days ever since it came out. I have listened to nothing else. NOTHING. ELSE.

For some reason Groupie Love reminds me of her unreleased song Paris (which i'm fine with btw) there's just something about the vibe that reminds me of it

i LOOOOOOOVE "You Never Knew". That BASS line. It gives me some 70s vibes, I can't put my finger on what exactly makes me think this, but I love it.

Yeah okay at first I wasn't feeling the album at all. I only liked the lead singles but, after giving it a few listens, I'm warming up to it! Miss You More, Into Me You See, Hey Hey Hey and Save As Draft are my faves right now. I think I didn't like it at first because it wasn't anything like I'd expected. PRISM will always mean the most to me tho and, my god, Thinking Of You came on shuffle yesterday. I almost FORGOT how in love i am with that song. It will always be my favourite katy song makes me think of someone

I'm really fascinated with this whole livestream campaign that she's doing. Actually, I've been getting into marketing recently and this is right up my alley. It's SUCH a novel way of using her platform and artistry to reach a wider medium. I WOULD totally write a paper about this but *flips hair* i'm getting my degree in like six days so I'mma lay low

HOLY SHIT, they have a new album out? Listening to it now

Upon first hearing the album, I wasn't impressed at all. I was out of town on the 8th and got home just a few minutes before midnight so I thought, "Oh, KP's album will be out in a few minutes, i should stay up and listen! I might as well!" The more I listen to it, the more i like it, but it doesn't reach me the way PRISM did. There are some great tracks, though. The lifestream is super cool, I think. The therapy session was really hard to watch but i appreciate her trying to be as honest as possible.

AHHH this show was the BEST!
