I'm not sure how the Paper Love thing is going, I think she mentioned that it was going to be served for the radios like... back before the Video was actually released?
She tweeted then about That's So Us... like...Just lost.

I think they probably woke up on the summer bop
I hope it does well\gets her come recognization\outpeak catch

yeah i remember that sorta thing - i think she did honestly intend on putting one on there but when cx2 took its more mainstream style she was just like , dropped the unsolved songs

true tho - i mean if she pulls a tliv and has a new song redone to fit a new record, id be here for it but yeah just leak the old stuff instead of rereleasing it

also because no one mentioned it - paper love is being served to canadian radio i think?

I think another point about this is how it was teased that only one of them would make the cut, wasn't it? I'm almost sure she said something like this...
But anyway, at this moment, I'd just rather get new music tbh. Let all that stuff in the past waiting til it leaks instead of taking place of something new on a record

I've pointed this here before after a few listens over all the leaked snippets, I remember cuz I tried to place all the snippets together with the acoustic guitar version and I was like "ok the guitar version sounds way more produced than all of the snippets"

I have just no ideia of how it would sound in a final state tho. I think all the piano demos\voice memos and stuff, I just never expected them to end as they did. In a million years, I wouldn't think of Casanova as a dance\house inspired track or Misbelieving as...the way it is LOL

for what its worth the snippets are literally a subtractive edit of the guitar demo we got, the final wasnt started in that regard (edit: as far as i know anyways) .  and I KNOW RIGHT like , i would legit love it as an album closer (like track 11 after tliv) with the lives production or a close style

Is it good? I totally forgot it was coming, thought it would come later this month only

I swear this live version from 2 fking years ago sounds more final than all the snippets we got & the guitar demo
And thinking right now, it really would work as the album closer... ugh

I completely agree with everything in this comment. Wow.
The videos for BTD/Paradise were perfect, they displayed that fantasy California and Americana dream world she has created. They were filled to the brim with everything that was "Lana" - controversal relationships, flowers, something dangerous around the corner... I love those videos. I really hope the videos for the next album will have a great story again.

Sometimes I think it's just "too much" to complain over a coment like "Tour on sale today bitches".
She's still human and making that type of joke. Also, part of the few people she's following are probably part of "stan twitter" so she just think it's funny to...tweet.

I feel so much better knowing it's actually herself behind the screen, making "contact" with her fans, instead of someone else pretending to be her and making those mechanical tweets. It's just random and no point in having a profile with "@@lanadelrey". Just put up @TeamDelRey for contact.

Also not sure if it's unpopular, but I have a feeling that she moved away from the "cinematographic-music-videos" to move away from the vision that people had on her from BTD, then, focus on the music. For some people, Ultraviolence is her peak "musically" but I just cannot see anyone saying that Visually BTD wasn't her prime. The music videos, the aesthetic, the whole thing was wrapped up and it was good enough to be seen as "PLASTIC" but at same time, it was the game changing and the mark that everyone got. Hollywood Glamour Vintage etc. Looking at Ultraviolence "Visually", West Coast and then Shades Of Cool were the begin of what she's doing today. Beautiful music videos but just packed in random some random scenes.
Right Now I feel she's in a middle zone from Music + Visuals. The visuals are not ugly, that's good. It's just lackluster I guess so. Music Videos like Music To Watch Boys To, Freak, Love, White Mustang... they are all "Beautiful", but they just miss a plot, something happening... maybe cuz then it was turned into a puzzle game of remaking music videos. Unless she changes her mind for something "I want to go all visual", then, things will just remain the same and I don't think it's something her team can change...

Listened to Honeymoon the other day and kinda thought it was better than I expected. I think It's the type of album that kinda gets better with time and people will appreciate it more.

The fact it came straight after Ultraviolence (that ended kinda...abruptly) was something that kinda helped the hate. People weren't over it yet and then Honeymoon came like a trainwreck and people still mourning til today.

Deep down, it's a really great album. Maybe missing a few standouts\highlights that we do have on all the other albuns but still, it's great as a record in full.

tangential but she should re-release when/how like she did with tliv, i dont care what she does to it i just need it

and yeah personally i didnt feel that was intended to be taken 100% seriously / literally, i mean if anyone compared my work to gaga or lana i think id just lose all mental function but - who knows im not allie

    From her Best Fit interview
"s the venue's drapes draw back to reveal her, she is a picture of exhausted Hollywood glamour; thick red lips and alabaster parlour set off against a too-fixed stare and movements sharp and unsettlingly. When the first bars of vintage gem “Bitch” "

I have never gotten vintage or Hollywood glamour vibes from Allie, ever. That's a Lana thing, and she's not trying to emulate Lana. I get hyperfuture, almost Black Mirror type abstract art vibes, very modern and sleek. I guess the lyrics of Bitch are alluding to a vintage scenario, though..

    Onwards,

"I love the idea of Lana Del Rey – the affected, death-obsessed heroine crooning about addiction, depression and excess. It's just the execution always felt hollow to me, with the trite post-modernity and the Twin Peaks references. Like, you could see the industry strings underneath.

Allie X is everything we want from Lana, and some. "

Oh my god, shut up. I'm actually frustrated that Allie tweeted this, now. They're not even comparable. And to act like Lana is manufactured garbage and Allie is the antithesis.... I mean, I can't even see the comparison, but this person obviously knows nothing about Lana past the two songs on Born to Die that she sang on SNL.

I do think she's a good songwriter and does write some innovative music (not all... more than anything it's that she did something unique and just kept doing that until it wasn't unique anymore) but sometimes I get the impression that she thinks she far above the rest (and she isn't. She's paving her way, but she's not there).

I know she feels old but she needs to stop calling herself mommy/mom yesterday

For me, it's not that I dislike it (I actually love the album) but the songs don't feel as personal to me as they did with TFJ and EH. Hence why the main songs I listen to on the album still are Happy, Solitaire, and Immortal. I also jam to FROOT a lot, but idk I feel like the rest of the songs have something missing. Maybe I just need to listen to the album in full again or something.
But, I think the hate for the album is a bit much.

It's a trend to hate Honeymoon in the Lana fanbase, just like it's a trend to hate Coachella and Halsey.

Swan Song kills me. It's like the official "escape your life and everything you know" anthem.
