I totally understand starting with a song from her latest album, but if anyone there somehow hadn't heard A&W they would have to be so confused that Lana chose to start the show yelling at the crowd that they're fucking up BIG TIME.

What time is the show on New York time? I get so confused with the time zones, it’s embarrassing

I think the hand motions at the very beginning are choreography, since she's done them at multiple festivals now, at the same point in the show (the start of A&W); she doesn't do it sporadically throughout the show. Maybe she is nervous too, but I took it as a sort of "fanning the flames / building excitement" motion...like psyching herself and the crowd up? I like the dancers when they are used judiciously. I re-watched Molly's solo during UV and it freaks me out in the absolute best way--some of her movements are almost like contortion, but perfectly expressing the darkness and longing of the song. I was super impressed. More of that "interpretive dance complementing the vocals" and less of the "weird props distracting from Lana" (the candelabra were downright silly, like Beauty and the Beast meets Phantom). I think one or two dancers on stage at a time works better; maybe bring out everyone for just a couple of big numbers. I will be so interested to see how the show plays at later festivals, when she's done it several times through and fine-tuned it.

It works again! Maybe it's a certain # per day? I'm re-watching, and honestly this show is iconic... the way she sounds so bored and disdainful when she says, "Actually...I don't wanna bring him [to heaven with me] anymore" slays me. Ice queen vibes! Plus this time I noticed the dancers laughing and looking thrilled behind her; they were not expecting that!

I was really annoyed that Gn'R played for about eleventy hours (every time I clicked over, they were still going) while Lana was cut off. New QFTC: what the fuck, Glasto?? However, she looked and sounded amazing, and my headcanon is that she was late because she went over to watch her husband Axl for awhile first.

Was anyone able to see if they streamed Wizkid tonight? I don't know them, but they were on tonight on the stage and time slot Lana will have tomorrow, so perhaps a decent predictor?

Them surviving would be the best case scenario, but if they had to die, immediate and painless is better than the nightmare I was picturing. It is haunting to think their bodies will rest near those who went down on the Titanic (the news said it's unlikely they can be recovered).

The irony of shipwrecking into one of the world's most famous shipwrecks, if that is what happened...just yikes. This story makes me claustrophobic.

As Taylor might say, Lana was weird but fuckin' beautiful. She seemed to alternate being sad/withdrawn and suddenly saying certain words or lines really loud and kind of angry (or maybe defiant?). A stalker would certainly explain it. Or something we don't know about. Anyway, she looked great and periodically sounded great, so there's no doubt she's still got it! Acc to this setlist Bittersweet Anthem is just National Anthem, the end.

Well, at least now we know what the Outro is, and it did feel more "finished" because it came full circle back to the Intro, and the dancers and singers got to take bows. The big video screen said "FIM", which I assume means "end." So at least we know how she wanted it to end.

Oh, there's an instrumental Nature Boy outro now... it IS "dramatic" but she's long gone!

So the main differences tonight (besides the weird energy) were no wig, taking time to go down and get her flower crown, and almost considering doing Get Free. She said "I don't remember it." BUT she's...letting the crowd sing it? Edit: she's singing or mumbling a few bits of it?
