One thing I love that she does, that I wish Lana would do, is how she breaks up the songs into smaller pieces. My biggest complaint about The Grants is the 30 seconds of the girls messing up. I wish that was it’s own ‘intro’ and let The Grants be its own song. Like yeah, a good handful of the songs on this album are under a minute, but it works SO well and it gives songs (I feel) more replay value because you don’t have to listen to Dolly P to listen to Jolene

We’re 5 months from the supposed release month. Henry will be on the album, but it’s not that out of the ordinary that we heard one snippet and nothing since

The fact that Lana wasn’t coquette until ocean came out in 2023 tells me all I need to know. She wasn’t coquette until it was popular, and now it’s her brand. It makes no sense to me tbh

Well her one droplet (Say Yes To Heaven) did get a vinyl release, so she’s not against it! I do think Country Roads was Grammy related because the press release mentioned how she was nominated, and it was a quick and easy way to get her name out there. Insiders have said for awhile now that the cover album is shelved. Not that she can’t eventually release it, but I really think this time around it was just a droplet. I really don’t think droplets cause a mess with rollouts because obviously SYTH and Country Roads both were just simple songs that she/her label wanted out there. Plus, its not like she promotes her droplets. She didn’t say a single word about SYTH and she posted about country roads once I think a Coachella/Doin time droplet would be perfect! A fun song to give a taste for the album that can be performed live, but admittedly I don’t see anything coming quite yet

Oh see I love little droplets. It keeps the fans fed and doesn’t put pressure on her to follow up with anything big big! The droplets keep it interesting in between album cycles. Plus SYTH was high requested so that’s one less song fans have to ask for and I love country roads so I’d rather get it in droplet from than not get it at all. I do think a festival song would be cute but I think if shes gonna release anything it’ll be the first Lasso single, it’s almost 5 months from the album and that’s usually when she releases the first song (LMYLAW October- COTCC March) (BB/WW/TB May - BB October) idk it feels like first single time is approaching

That flop site didn’t even update the music page to put Country Roads in the ‘new music’ section, I highly doubt it means anything. YES, when her official lanadelrey.com site closes that’s suspicious, but they probably didn’t pay the bill or something and that’s why this is password locked pls prove me wrong lana

I just picked up You and the hunger games prequel yesterday! i went to the book store and was absolutely overwhelmed with the choices I have no idea how I spent hours as a kid going through each isle and picking up like 5 or 6 at a time. The two books I ended up buying were both already on my radar

I know most fans don’t love blonde Lana, but I personally LOVE blonde Lana, it fits her so well (which makes sense because it’s her natural color) the album cover was probably shot months ago so I feel like she’ll still have dark hair for Lasso, but I hope she keeps it for Coachella. I’m still hurt by when she dyed her hair that super pretty blonde color, and then dyed it back to dark like 2 weeks later

Beyoncé’s album made me so much more excited for lasso. Love cowboy carter, and I’m super hype to hear Lana’s take on country. I still think we’ll get LDRX info around/after Coachella

Unpopular opinion, I don’t want this to be the first song released. It’s super cute and I love the melody, but if she’s going country she needs to debut it with a bang, and Henry doesn’t seem like a bang, it seems like a soft sad song
