I end the four worst months of my life (aka my internship) tomorrow and I'm celebrating by listening to all of Lana albums in full one after the other. Started w Honeymoon now at UV enjoying the fuck out of it

Totally unrelated (maybe?) but I just saw that Tool's lead single was released on august 7th and the audio already has 7,7 million views on youtube. Thats almost what Venice Bitch did in 11 months (8,6 million) 
 
And before y'all say "oh but VB its 9 minutes long" this new Tool track its literally 10:22 minutes long so yeah #3 debut incoming

still wonder what made them suddenly cancel the release of fiily and tg, that was so random 

honestly i wouldnt mind if she went 2 years without an album/new music announcement like she did between honeymoon and lfl.
but the fact that she released 2 singles, announced the album(!), and kept teasing snippets - made a lot of hype, and instead of keeping the hype going she let it die by not mentioning the album again for nearly a year later. 
 
theres a difference between not releasing music and not having an ongoing era, to starting an era + releasing singles + announcing an album and after that - not releasing and saying anything for long months later.

i feel like most people (or at least me) are actually frustrated about the lack of communication between her and the fans during the almost year between the release of the lead singles to the album announcement. she couldve just said she is facing some technical issues or whatever about the release of the album and not leave us all hanging with her posting her random car snippets and selfies instead - and that she definitely could control.

NFR's hope for a good spot on the charts was lowkey dead once they announced the release date (and even a bit earlier tbh)

i feel like she doesn't really care as much as we think she does (anymore) putting BAR on the album felt really lazy like if she actually cared about that song she would've changed the production like she didnt even change the backing vocals that say fame and she probably only changed the lyrics so she wasnt throwing out a completely known unreleased song 

If we go by this logic then how come no is sharing this same energy with people who have over 200 unreleased Lana songs in their iTunes library? Which I can imagine is more than half of people here.

The funniest thing about this new BAR is how most people were expecting her to change the "he was cool as heck" but she kept it and changed the good parts of the song  CLOWNERY AT ITS BEST

I’m hoping she gets new ideas again right as this one releases like she did between UV and HM. Just to have a start on the next project with Jack or someone. Especially with how fast LFA came out, I wouldn’t doubt her doing something else at the same time, given such a short “tour” like Endless Summer
