You know, I first thought this track was cute, but when I came here, I had to confront the truth and that was a) she should’ve never sent a song to this movie soundtrack cuz it would’ve never let her flex her strengths and b) it seems like....she doesn’t want to change from the L+F sound. Such a shame. It really makes me sad, cuz as I see my favorite artists improve and mature in their music like Lana, who was part of and created the tumblr-y era of music, it just seems like she never seemed to reach there. sigh agreed. it was already sad for me personally to see her fandom become smaller and smaller as the years went by, but now her music quality as well?? out of all the alt-pop girls, I related to her music the most, so it would be very hard for me to have to accept that she’s probably not gonna change. still weird to me that she said since she’s at peace now, she’s not cynical anymore. you don’t...have to be cynical to have creativity, curiosity, and imagination.

guys......GUYS.....this album is already one of the best of 2020. i was excited for this album once singles like clementine and you should be sad came out, and i was not let down. she poured all her authenticity and realness into it, and it came out in the end refreshing as hell. the leading up to the album worried me though because it seemed like she didnt know what her image was anymore, but now i know why: she had a hard time and was confused on how to introduce this new side to her fans edit: jesus "more" is such a sad song

doja is talented and her music is great, but she's so unbelievably immature it almost surprises me sometimes. her response to people criticizing her about using the f word made her sound like a 14 year old, and her having a whole twitter tirade of cursing out other people whilst also blaming her audience at rolling loud for it not being a good concert make it seem like her mom let her do whatever she wanted when younger cuz she has no concept of responsibility or being mature when needed at all.
