I got freaking goosebumps from hearing that and I definitely would have fainted and died if I was there. Luckily I wasn't, lol.

The fucking best honestly. I keep dreaming that she is doing these little snippets as practice and will perform in full by my date or end of the tour! This song is the best. We need to have it live in full, at least once.

"thats right, that brought it all back"

she's perfect, it's kinda weird tho seeing as she openly said she made the record for herself n doesn't seem to listen to it, was it more of a therapeutic release or a release purely to her liking? mayb both?

I'm happy she did Terrence Loves You, been waiting to see that live for a minute. I hope next time it'll be with the piano if she decides to do it again.

Omg foreal! I did the same at a Macklemore concert and no one behind me cared. I was shocked tbh I took it too personal... I’m seeing someone I truly admire and worked my ass off to see. We’re at a pop concert not a opera

Yikes that sucks. People go to places to make other have a bad time. Like stay home and save your money instead of spreading your negativity

Another fabulous show. Being right at the barrier was kind of fun. No she did not come our way for selfies but it was still great to be so close. I wish I could do that for every show!

Yes she did Terrence. But really just a little bit. And yes she did it from by the barrier. I think she was asking a couple of girls for the lyrics? I could not see her when she did it so I’m glad some vids exist. More Honeymoon Lana!

I do like her in all black but I think the pink and white was adorable tonight. I’m not one to criticize her looks but I do wonder why the Detroit show was the only one (?) where she did something with her hair.

Also yay for Serial Killer again!

Up against the barrier. Way on the left and I know she favored the right last night but I’m happy. Hoping the next 2 hours go by fast!

I'm going to admit to recording most or all of the show. BUT I always cover the entire phone (screen) with my hand as to not have people behind me look at a 5" glowing screen. Of if I'm close enough to the front or side I will lean my hand/device in a manner as to not block anyone's view with a glowing screen. And I keep the phone/hand way over my head as to not block my own view or anyone else's around me.

I think if you record at shows it's fine.. just be considerate of people around you. But especially don't watch the show through the recording device, that's super lame.
  16. FLA to the Moon liked a post in a topic by Candy Galore in Are you still attending the world tour?
So, Lana Del Rey is going on her world tour in 2018 and some people already shared how much certain tickets are going to cost because they had the right to buy presale tickets. I remember that the general admission fee is around 150 dollar and the most expensive VIP package is around 400 euro. So, are you still going to attend the world tour? Personally, I can only attend the world tour if she’s going to release the European dates this week and announce she’s performing in Amsterdam, and if she’s lowering the price of the tickets. Because to be honest, 150 euro for general admission is just bizarre when you pay 70 for Lady Gaga, someone who’s dancing, singing, and the stage production and pay 100 for Madonna. I love Lana so much but I’m afraid that if there’s not cheaper tickets available, I am just not able to come because of the price of these tickets And it’s unfortunate. I have been a fan since 2013 and she hasn’t been here since like 2011. That’s six years.

in terms of eras i suppose honeymoon was pretty underwhelming with minimalistic promo, recycled footage used for freak and also mtwbt, not giving the title track a proper mv, and perhaps the addition of the backup dancers for concerts but sonically it's amazing, i always listen to all of lana's music anyway

the only low point of hm is perhaps the nina simone cover and the vinyl discontinuity between freak/art deco. i'd hate to pick a favorite but i find honeymoon to be the blueprint of what i like in an album. to me - it's almost perfect

i love every single song, and the admirable thing is that the album is very cohesive but also lana revisits (or at least acknowledges) different  styles of music from classic lounge, gospel, trap and jazz

also something that is very specific to honeymoon is that every track is in the right place: she achieved to find the perfect opener/closer combo (i ignore nina - whom i love dearly- and pretend it ends with swan song even tho the cover is ok, and also appropriate, so no hard feelings on my part). the album starts with the perfect incipit that almost breaks the 4th  wall and nudges about lana's popularity and every other track in the middle is in its right place. And love that she has an interlude

i also love how chill the album is, i like that lana has something like that in her repertoire. anyway this is all my opinion, i admit i have a negative bias against deluxe versions of albums and while UV sonically and lyrically might be more interesting there are like 4 different versions of the album (standard, deluxe, deluxe with an itunes song exclusive and a japanese deluxe version - i could be wrong) so it's kinda jarring. at least LFL has the perfect closer with GF.

i'm also partial to the surreal themes of the songs and to the hermetic approach of her lyrics, which also brings some variety to her songwriting because that's a different style from BTD/UV where she seems like she's narrating a story, while in HM she seems addressing herself or the audience about her thoughts and feelings in a dialogue. I feel that we are more included in the narrative and lana's persona with this album.

it might seem like lana hasn't taken any risks but compared to what the music industry is, the project was very risky. the tempo is too slow and not very youtube attractive. I could see the songs being played by a radio tbh but not becoming viral and eliciting lots of clicks which is something everyone attempts to do with drums, fast hooks and lush music videos (altho lana could use a better marketing strategy ...)

i'll stop before writing an essay, honeymoon is bomb.

I listen to Honeymoon more often to ease my anxiety. Art Deco, Swan Song, and Salvatore are so beautiful. I do understand why some people aren't in love with it though. I have to be in a certain mood to listen to it.
  19. FLA to the Moon liked a post in a topic by Candy Galore in Honeymoon doesn't deserve to be treated like this
I often see people discrediting Honeymoon on this community and elsewhere and calling it Lana Del Rey's worst album. But I have never understood that almost the whole fan base hate Honeymoon. Honeymoon has the highest metascore on metacritic with Lust for Life. Honeymoon, Music To Watch Boys To, Terrence Loves You, God Knows I Tried, High By The Beach, Art Deco, Religion, Salvatore, The Blackest Day, 24 and Swan Song are beautiful songs. The album photoshoot is so beautiful as well and far better than Lust for Life. So, why do people treat Honeymoon so poorly? I understand that some people dislike the Freak music video, though. High By The Beach and Music To Watch Boys to have great music videos and the music video for Honeymoon as well. Sometimes I wonder if people actually listened the album before judging it by the singles.
