i just got mine this morning!

i liked the norman artwork a lot, actually, and tought it was pretty cohesive, though you're right that the album design was pretty sparse. i too like the artwork generally for this era– the standard cover has really grown on me, and i think the gatefold/booklet pics fir the album reflect the sound/vibe of the record nicely. unlike many i love the color scheme of the neil cover (and his work generally) but don't necessarily love the execution; i think the spotify pic disc is actually my fav of all the covers (even though it sort of isnt one)– love how it calls back to the randomass "ranch" line of TJF and is just vibey, sunny rural vibes overall with her crew.

i was wondering if those were lyrics or song credits? or both?

the way whoever predicted the full body shot of val was right...jkjk it looks lovely! i'm guessing those inner gatefold photos also make up the lithographs from the cd boxset, recognize a few from the preview.

tbh if u have the $ just buy it. you can always put it in a diff. sleeve or sell it if you decide you don't want it and you know you'll at least make back what you paid for it.

this is my hope too- based on the timeline for violet I think that’s a reasonable expectation (though I could see winter/spring 22 as well).

omg i kow this is off topic but i have to ask what cool tori vinyl you have. all i have is the BFP clear vinyl (my fav album so yay) but there's so many I want. to keep this on topic: the standard cover has really grown on me (esp after hearing the album) so i'm now pretty excited about the UO version I ordered. i'm also gonna have the spotify pic disc cuz i think it looks so great– this is my first time ever buying two of same record on the same format.

def the UO version (pale green). after hearing the album i get the vibe of the color variants more, but i think the green nods nicely to the landscapes that go with the album (for me): forest, desert, mountains.
