I'd buy a dictionary, but it looks like you've dumped the entire contents of one all over this forum.

Or maybe you consider imitating Trump to be the highest form of earnestness, and not at all snarky. Or maybe the "elitist rot" has finally got to you. Anyways, I'll pray for you.

I haven’t been to McDonalds in years and this is making me want to swap my seasonal Five Guys for a quarter pounder. Is it really good?

No clue what’s been going on in this thread but I had a nasty case of norovirus this week and I’m 99% sure it was the universe cleansing my system so Lana can enter me with LDR9 very soon.

Supreme Court overturns constitutional right to abortion
Mer replied to baddisease's topic in World News
But the Roe v. Wade overture really doesn't affect the wealthy white neo-nazi populations, those are the people that can afford to fly to Cali or NYC and get a safe abortion. This mainly affects POC and people without access to the money. In those communities: A. birth rates may soar. B. death rates will also rise because of risky abortions. -

Um…sorry? Is “here” referring to LanaBoards? I think this community as a whole is left leaning and very educated. -

1. Don’t use that word. 2. Read the actual thread where I explain what I was saying. 3. This photo is literally all over the front page of news articles. If you’re uncomfortable with the fact there are people like this celebrating it, good. Vote—so they won’t have something to celebrate in the future. -

Agreed. I think people want a revolution to happen without them being affected/getting involved...which is impossible. What you realistically (and non lethally) can do is vote for Senators, Presidents, and Congresspeople who will 1. Institute term limits on all branches of govt. From judiciary to legislative 2. Appoint and approve progressive minded SCOTUSes 3. Move the country forward through legislation and the repealing of amendments. Those candidates exist, all it takes is some research, and knowing that you're playing the long game. Your side won't win immediately, but every single vote that gets added to their column, it moves the entire country in their direction. -

I think you completely missed my point… what I am articulating is that people from all walks of life are anti-abortion. Don’t just blame this on the obviously rural, country “hicks”. Your co-worker in California is just as likely to celebrate this, even if they seem worldly and sophisticated. These people are all around us. -

You really think we could win a revolution against Conservatives who are literally hoping each day for an excuse to break out and use their vast gun collections on us? -

Saddening. It's important to remember that the people celebrating this come from all walks of life. We may never understand them, but it's important to remember that they are not a monolith.- 145 replies
