yo don't patronize ppl in the Lorde thread! this is a place of peace and love and hippie nonchalance.

I believe it. Ppl get weirdly pissed about financially comfortable ppl talking about their lives. I got the same reaction from a few members on here when I used to mention anecdotes about my own life even tho I’m not rich (in the way they think)

Hyped but what is “alt ballad” supposed to mean? These insiders using genres i do not have brain cells to comprehend.

you'd think being sent to jail warrants bigger concerns than missing the release of an album ?? and the fact that someone offered to send them a vinyl ??? Bc obviously prison has a HiFi system ?

Amagansett/East Hampton is a little more low-key/old money.

Is the piano melody at the end of BB officially a sample from Terrence, or just sounds similar?
  15. “Could she be big like Lady Gaga” if only these 2012-ers knew where LDR and LG would be in 9 years Glad LDR has been able to maintain a steady and stable (and acclaimed) career for almost a decade. This is so rare and such a blessing.
  16. Shut down Twitter. Name one good thing to come out of it. Twitter users need to go outside, meet some real people, touch some grass, lose their virginity, and then maybe they can get a grip

I really thought this would be a total reinvention, but so far every song, other than “Your Power”, sounds like a reimagined take on “Bad Guy”…I thought the blonde hair and the Vogue shoot were gonna be a sign of a total gear switch but she’s playing it safe I think? And what single is this 4–not much of the album left at this point to change anyone’s opinion drastically.
  18. Speaking of which, I wonder how many LDR albums we’ll end up getting (if I’m alive to see her last lol). Madonna’s pretty much at the tail-end (imo) and she’s put out 14 studio albums. LDR is already halfway there and she’s still only in her 30s. I wonder if we’ll all have a “LDR21 Pre-Pre-Release thread” on the LanaBoards-Brain-Microchip in 2047

Haven’t listened to this but I honestly think she should move up the release. 60 days is too long when clearly lots of ppl have so many tracks (this one, mood ring, the other track that was posted on Reddit). This is probably gonna be a mid-summer album, with or without her at this point lol.
  24. I hope a track on this album references one of her older songs, like how “Dance Till We Die” references “Off To The Races”. I love those little callbacks.
