Adding to the fact, Interscope probably makes the most money off of her vinyls. So I think they're hesitant to release the album without having a huge supply of vinyls already pressed and ready to go. Imagine if COTCC had really come out in Sept. (on streaming and CDs) and the vinyl didn't come until March--Interscope would've lost a tonnnn of sales (COTCC broke some records for most vinyls sold I think). It must be hard for her to convince the label to let her release her music before everything's ready to go.

Anyway. I would love for her to work with Weyes Blood on some more tracks (non-covers). I feel like Weyes would be the perfect co-writer/producer to Lana and help evolve her sound into a mesh between NFR/COTCC and HM/UV!

Unless the snippet we heard for BB is wildly different from the rest of the songs production I can NOT see how it's a Mike Dean track. Just looking at Mike Dean's discography and it's full of Beyonce, Madonna, Kanye West, Selena Gomez, and Travis Scott.

I think I'm reading wayyyy too much into it BUT... What if the album is autobiographical so she goes through every genre. Like 18 tracks on BB, and the first 3 tracks are BTD trip hop sounds, the next 3 are UV rock, then dreamy HM, hip hop LFL, folk NFR, country COTCC? So it's not one genre but all of them? And the music tells the story of her life and where she's gone (and the snippet we heard from BB means its at the end of the album?)

These insiders are all the same. They'll say some vague shit and then when the album comes out they'll be like "well actually if you read between the lines, this is exactly what I said it would be". The album is probably some folk/country genre but the insider refers to it as "Americana" so technically, in his eyes, its not folk or country

She's been killing it with vinyl sales apparently. I'm sure Interscope is very happy to have her keep pumping out that plastic. And I doubt BB (or COTCC for that matter) have very expensive rollouts? LDR Village was probably the biggest sunk cost, but I'm sure it recouped a lot of the money. It's not like she's asking them to pay for Steven Klein to shoot the album cover.

Album cover aside, I can pretty confidently say she's heading exactly where she needs to be artistically with this album. I think NFR-COTCC-BB will really cement her legacy as one of the greatest songwriters of our generation. I feel like this album will also continue her artistic maturation. I'm so glad nothing we've heard so far sounds like BTD. I'm 9 years older than when BTD dropped, and I feel like her music (sonically/lyrically) has grown with me. Super pumped for this album. If NFR is late summer/early fall, COTCC is late fall/early winter, I hope BB is going to be late spring/summer.
