nothing exciting about the album tbh...it all sounds a bit flat and empty? but I suppose this obviously isn't a record that Lana fans are necessarily gonna love... I expected more from Alice, the whole album sounds like something from 2015 that wasn't really modernized 5 years later?

i feel like bloodpop bullied her into all these instrumental choruses. like that’s both songs from the album so far that have almost no lyrical content in their chorus, just bloodpop showing off his production skills. this is the same woman who wrote Bad Romance. she can do better than “rain. on. me.” and just an instrumental break.
