  1. I’d still be excited for LDR9 if Jack produced it…..under the condition it’s distinct sonically from NFR and COCC I genuinely think Jack and Lana have produced some of the best in her discography, but please give us something refreshing without being too similar to his work with other artists even if the genre is the same
  2. Tbh I really wasn’t sure if they were considered “released” because we no longer have access, but that makes sense lol
  3. Pawn Shop Blues and Oh Say Can You See then again, I love PSB as it is
  4. we’ll get a homemade one 2 years from now in the same fashion as this one except it’ll be for Beautiful and will feature her painting a canvas blue & hanging it on her wall
  5. Same!! I know Radiohead is a touchy subject among Lana fans, but I'd love to hear her cover Pyramid Song. It's beautifully written, and I can totally hear her amplifying its murky atmosphere. Part of me wishes she'd dip into something in the vein of Thom Yorke's Dawn Chorus in the future, but I will not allow myself to get my hopes up for that lol
  6. If Jack is involved in LDR9, all I ask is that he switches things up a little. For me, at least, COCC sometimes felt like NFR! but with the heavy electronic influences removed and with the occasional country twang peppered in. I’d love for LDR9 to exist in its own sonic bubble. I’m 100% fine with there being similarities and hearing Jack’s signature production elements, but I love when records invite you into their own little world. I genuinely think NFR! did that beautifully. That’s just my personal preference, though!
  7. Ooh, I forget about LYTAN sometimes, and that’s a very good point!! If Jack is involved in LDR9, I wonder if it’ll be a WFWF situation where he’s only involved in a song or two in the record. That also makes me wonder who the main producer would be…fingers crossed for a Mike Dean synth takeover
  8. Currently remembering that there are several projects Jack could be involved in that aren’t LDR9…. I personally love when they work together, but the covers album and her poetry (audio)book are both major possibilities for the alleged collaboration however, imagine if it’s for that Kali Uchis collab that Lana (according to Kali) reached out about. unlikely but still a concept
  9. I’d love to hear Lana really lean into a specific genre like she did with Ultraviolence and Honeymoon…even if I’m not familiar or even super fond of the soundscape Like..would I want a country album? Not really, but I think she could seriously pull it off if she really delved into it. Lately, we’ve been getting little tastes of different genres infused into her folky singer-songwriter tracks (like country in IYLDWM and psychedelia in Venice Bitch), but I’d love to see her jump headfirst and really douse her music in a specific sound. Her music really has an escapist quality, and I think that would just further amplify it
  10. Thinking about when the gays bothered Mike Dean until he gave us music info….. I don’t want him to be bothered but if someone did & he divulged info I wouldn’t be upset
  11. The TNBAR demo because I have such negative memories associated with the track & its sentiments. Put men in cages challenge
  12. This is like…the epitome of introspection & being wistful. I’m here for it lol
  13. I’ve been mulling over these same sentiments for weeks, and I think you worded it perfectly. I think White Dress is a great example of a track that—while very raw and authentic—still sounded very finished and immersive, almost existing in its own little bubble. I won’t name specific BB songs for my safety (lmao), but there are certainly a handful that I feel could have been better if they were more polished vocally and production-wise. Stylistically, I may not agree with all of Jack’s choices, but I love how intentional and careful he is with them. I think that direction is really nice to see with Lana’s more impromptu style, and I think that just comes with him being a mainstream pop producer. While I appreciate many of her one-takes and think they’ve generated insanely good work, I personally hope she doesn’t become reliant on them. Inconsistencies in vocals can be amazing when utilized correctly, but an excess can feel a bit distracting. That’s just me, though
  14. Some of these are probably less traditional but I feel are still important in her life as an artist: •SNL: both a power move & would make for good commentary on Lana’s end. •Atlanta, Georgia (2/5/2018): The concert following the stalking charge with Michael Hunt—I would imagine it’s an important performance for Lana & likely helped shape her connection to fame •Kim & Kanye Wedding: Honestly, I’m mostly just curious to see what it was like, but I think it could transition nicely into other interactions with celebrities •Williamsburg Live Songwriter’s Competition (Pawn Shop Blues): Not only does it segue into her current relationship with fame, but it also features some of her best songwriting as well—especially at such a young age!
  15. I would love to see Lana do something really creative for her next album cover even if it’s divisive Probably unpopular but if she did something like AI art for LDR9 I would be thrilled—I assuming it’s fitting, of course) I made this using free text-to-image AI & think there could be really cool possibilities with it considering Lana’s dreamy, sometimes spacey aesthetic (think Love, almost)
  16. banned for having an iconic signature !
  17. A little random but what record do we think will follow Blue Banisters? I’m inclined to think it’s the covers album, personally (especially considering she already talked about a cover being important later this year). I also think Lana having her more “official” studio record being the 10th feels more..even(?) and monumental. What does everyone else think?
  18. This is honestly how I feel about Body Electric! I love how much emotion is in her voice where the video starts (“She prays the rosary..”), and I also love how she included more electric guitar in other live performances as well
  19. Looking For America is criminally underrated. I think it would have been perfect for COCC had we not already heard it as a standalone single. She never got enough hype
  20. Lana randomly posting the music video for Pawn Shop Blues has me hopeful we’ll see it released in some fashion..imagining it in a record filled with similar songs
  21. Producers: Mike Dean, Lana Del Rey Tracklist: •Where Gods Dare Not Tread - Interlude •Past Andromeda •Alice •Totaled (Your Rolls-Royce) •Bodega Bae / •Ego Death •Oh Say Can You See •A Changed Man •Loved You Then and Now - Rock Candy Sweet •Landslide (feat. Father John Misty) Genres: Shoegaze, Dream Pop, Chamber Pop Composers: Drew Erickson, Robert Grant Jr.
  22. Currently, I have no idea what to expect sonically for LDR9! If Rob isn’t involved on the covers record, are we getting an extension of what we heard in Blue Banisters? …and where does Mike Dean come in amid all of this? Are we getting something more instrumental but also…synthy? Almost like French Restaurant but..spacier? I need answers lol
  23. the Interlude watching everyone put Beautiful as their scrap
  24. Coachella would be worshipped if it had the same production as Yosemite. While it’s not my favorite lyrically, the Instagram acapella snippet of it outsold & I stand by that
  25. “you can’t blacken the pages with Russian wedding songs & be happy”
