My favourite 3 shaped up to be Thunder, Wildflower Wildfire and Nectar of the Gods; they happen to come right after each other. Nectar of the Gods is truly heartbreaking. The way she delivers the lines, her voice and even the sound of the guitar sounds so painful, I feel every second of it. -
I know some people has an issue with the mask lyrics in Violet for Roses but apart from what she meant literally is not problematic at all as she means she is relieved that she is seeing signs that pandemic is getting over; lyrics have double entendre where there is more timeless reference to the concept of the song as she chooses what she wants, and not what the other person dictates to her: The girls are running 'round in summer dresses with their masks off = The girls are being free and being themselves

Ok I will share a theory about Blue Banisters and Cherry Blossom, it is most likely a reach and it is a bit sensitive subject but here's the deal: -
She didn't like the song at first but on Twitter she said it became one of her favorites.

Thunder could've been perfect but isn't due to lack of demo guitars. Maybe something like this with main riff being more prominent -

After all the songs we are getting from her earlier sessions with Barrie, I think we can appreciate that she felt the need to change the lyrics of The Next Best American Record. -

Is there any connection between "Mail me when you get the blues" in BBS and "If you get the blues, baby blues.... Don't write me a letter, I'll always be right here" in SC?. I know the latter is meant for her sister but I don't get what she means in BBS. -

Even if the songs are in lossless quality on those streaming services, since they are remastered from the YouTube rips there's not so much change. I think somebody here looked at the spectrum of the CD rips and those three songs were cut off at certain kbps. -

I think it's about her public perception, all the ridicolous hate she's receiving and all the stupid talks and assumptions about her. The song is produced in a way that percussion gets so chaotic that in my opinion it represents a nervous breakdown. Some say "The only thing that still fits me is this black bathing suit" line is about her getting weight recently and black bathing suit may also represent her depression or her bad girl look. In her recent Instagram live, they were talking about why media/people are so harsh on her and she said she thinks people believe she's just a bad/mean person. So I think that explains the "They said I was bad and I'll show them what bad girls do" lines. She is not a bad person, she believes she is an angel in heart but something makes her end up being misunderstood. "Your interest really made stacks out of it for me" means her haters make her famous and make her money. -

I'm hearing some weathervane sounds at the beginning of Thunder when she starts singing. I hope we have instrumentals soon. -

I love interpretations made about the track placements. I also want to take my turn to interpret last 5 songs Wildflower Wildfire - The title and the concept of the song itself is duality. Lana who she is today makes a promise and says that she wants to be a wildflower rather than a wildfire. And she explains the reasoning by going back to where all begins. How Lana ended up in hospital because of her wildfire mum. And she also explains how her poetry started by using lithium. Nectar of the Gods - You can see the duality in the verses here too. She talks about how cruel the world is and then how sweet the world is; the chorus says how the color blue is fucking crazy and wild like you never knew. Because for the most people, blue is calm and tranqualizing. I believe nectar of the gods refer to drugs. So in this song, she is explaining how she started doing drugs to try to heal hearself. The theme of the song is being lost and she seems lost. She is trying to find her way. Living Legend - She finally finds her way. She finds a mentor who inspires her and takes her hand to get out of the duality. You can see in the bridge how tired she is from living on the edge right between Heaven and Hell and how her living legend sends her right to the Heaven with the things she taught to her. Cherry Blossom - The circle of life makes her the mentor she was talking about in the previous song. She is now mentoring another lost girl (or her past lost self) as there's so much to learn and so much to see. She shows her the way to Heaven and pushes her high, cherry blossom on her sycamore tree. The world is cruel but Lana doesn't care anymore because she learned the way. Sweet Caroline - It's a song wraps up the whole story from her mother being so destructive to her sister having a baby. She makes the promise that she'll always be there for her sister. She shows her caring side she obtained and learned along her story. -

What I don't understand is they are not letting her release digital first-physicals later but they are letting this happen. Whole idea of releasing the album at the same losts its meaning then, just let her release the digital album first as she wants to. -
People thought it might be "I'm a drag and..."
-
Confirmed by Lana in her IG live that it's "I promise you like a million tomorrows".
