The Honeymoon leaks have not disappointed. California, Crazy For You, Come With Me, If I Die Young....all so beautiful. That era is truly unmatched. Also, we need more UV era leaks.... https://lanadelrey.fandom.com/wiki/Category:Ultraviolence_outtakes The ones listed here can't be it, right? There has to be more stuff she did with Dan. Where is it girlies?

I definitely agree about Kintsugi though. It's for sure more for the people who are more invested in her, and I really appreciate her doing this song and Fingertips for the fan service of it all. Like, I feel like she really opened up and got super raw and transparent and it's extremely touching and beautiful. She let us completely into her heart with those two songs. Kintusgi specifically is a masterpiece from start to finish, it's crazy how effortless it appears to be for her to craft such magnificence. That song feels like love, heartache, longing, and mending, like a big warm hug and sign of reassurance. Love Godna so much.

Fishtail hate is extremely tasteless lmao. That song is CUNT. Lana ate that. The verses, the chorus, everything is high bad bitch energy that I live for from her! Great track imo. One of my favorites from DYK.

I disabled Dolby Atmos because their version of the album was HORRENDOUS, and butchered I Blame Myself badly, made the production sound hollow. I also remember one of the songs being cut a few seconds which made it end abruptly maybe it was Kristine, I Will or Omanko I don't remember but I could be wrong and maybe that was always the case?

Most underrated moments on Lana's albums?
HeyBlueBaby replied to barttttender's topic in Lana Thoughts
Oop. Drag me sister! But that last bit kind of gives soft rock, no? And I definitely agree with you there! Lucky Ones is a very sweet closure. I never understood the hate for it. -

Maybe not underrated but Salvatore is kind of a soft rock masterpiece -
If journalism was alive, someone would be boots on the ground investigating what happened with Sky's career.....we need the expose atp, screw the music

I just want to know what her deal is. Like why did she just throw away her music career like that. Does she hate the fans? Hate what the label wants from her that much? Hates performing? Like what's the tea, and why keep "announcing" projects are coming soon. It all seems very sick and twisted tbh. Like she gets off on being the indie girl that could have or something.

My god......is it fair to say she's been edging people all along?

It's such a beautiful and simple song. Those lyrics are so powerful. I can't believe how old that track is too. Her music is really timeless.

This part of In Wendy expresses how I feel about Lana's music. It's brought me immense comfort and solace. Thank you so much Lana. If I only had to consume her music for the rest of my life I could with ease and happiness. I was sure I was made out of stone I have lost a lot but you helped me find What was really real and some peace of mind And I'm awfully thankful and I am so grateful I need no one else

It's bittersweet.

I just don't know how such an inoffensive, harmless song like Beautiful can cause such anger in this fan base lmao. Blue Banisters in general is shitted on entirely too much. Overall, it's a nice cohesive mature record. Chemtrails is more boring, though it's a nice album as a whole....she missed a bit. Both are still good records that this fan base does too much on. For me.

Beautiful is over hated. The Picasso lyric is not that bad, and I gather what she means more or less; don't tell her how to be, she has agency over her feelings and knows what to do with them: make beautiful music.

Has anything happened? Any new Instagram rants, tidbits shading Capitol, mom being unhinged, etc? Or is it just radio silence
-
I've never been one to have this sort of opinion on her before but I kinda miss the "old Lana" tbh...like pre-NFR Lana. Even though I love her last 4 albums, her aesthetic, sound, and mystique in her earlier career was so much fun.
-
Idk, it's pretty solid still Boys Ain't Your Right Omanko I Blame Myself Night Time, My Time 24 Hours You're Not The One I Will Kristine Wait, it's actually one of the best albums of all time........come back Sky Ferrari
-
She has alluded to it in several songs....she's been linked with multiple people at once....Idk, at the very least, she's had open relationships in the past. Even her latest album kind of touches on these topics
-
I think it's pretty clear that Lana does not practice monogamy. In several of her songs, she alludes to this, being content with sharing a lover or being shared. That's why when the sleuths in that Lana-relationships thread claimed she cheated on Barrie had me laughing. And after her relationship with Jack I think she clearly has open relationships
-
Well, she has several photos with Kandy Muse back from the UV days so I believe this.
-
That just made me think like, maybe NFR is so loved by people because her songwriting kind of hit a sweet spot....still quintessential Lana style, but matured and refined a lot, the production also reflected that. Truly a once in a lifetime record.

I'm bored so I'm gonna list the Lana songs I use the least from each album: BTD: Carmen, MDM, Lolita, Lucky Ones P: I don't really use it at all if I'm being honest, but I use Cola often and American too lately. UV: I think overall I've used Pretty When You Cry the least off this album, I haven't heard it in full in a long long time. Now that I think about it, I don't use Tracks 7-9 much and never did besides back then I stanned MPG HM: HBTB. I never use it when I get Honeymoon cravings. LFL: GBA & WTWWAW....especially the latter, at least GBA has melodies and vocals I like NFR: This ones hard because I use the whole album more or less. I probably go for VB the least simply cause of the length COCC: Tulsa, I've never been a fan of the song, and I cannot explain why. BB: A few I don't touch.... DYK: Love every song but I don't touch The Grants for personal reasons lol That was fun. Btw, I like p much all of these songs, I just use these ones the very least out of them all. I do need to start giving love to some of these and switch up my rotation lol

Kintsugi and Fingertips haters make me even madder when you take into account that these two songs are very personal, transparent and honest. During COCC she made a video talking about how she wasn't going to let people tell her story for her, that the popular narratives were fictitious, and the real story was more beautiful than what they say. Fingertips is the result of this. Talking about it all: her siblings, being sent away, resenting her mother, wanting a child, suicide, death/loss of a partner.....I mean, she covered so many bases. As a long time fan I'm very moved by it. Like, sure a lot of this stuff we've known or has been inferred....but it's different when she actually sings about it It's storytelling, it's songwriting, it's poetry. Those just here for "bops" and "cinematic production" or whatever it is they're not getting....you're just not gonna appreciate or understand the true magnificence of the songs if you don't genuinely love Lana's writing and story. I love hearing her sing about this shit, it feels really personal and touching and I feel every word, it's truly music for the soul. Idk how some people cant see how BIG these two songs are for her. They're so important. But thats just me

Yeah, that production and those lyrics date it for me. It's very much a product of its time. Thankfully there's better songs on that EP
