Every song on Crash really is a bop. The only one I don't care for is Every Rule because I'm not huge on ballads in general but it's good and I appreciate the lyrics. I also love that this album only has 2 songs with features, like this album really is just Charli's voice and I love that since she's been heavy on collaborating over the years which is great but I like that she took a step back from that to just create some solid solo pop songs.

Idk you might be being too hard on her like I know it's a running joke and stuff but she's hinted at being shelved before and she more than likely is. She can't just release music without the label approving of it so it's not entirely her fault at this point especially cause she has released some one offs like Easy, DL. 
 
Like when she said her situation isn't like Charli's I took that as "I'm shelved" bc even though Charli's label seemed to want to do something specific with her they still let her do her own thing where as Sky hasn't got to do shit.

I really feel for Sky and I hope one day she can at least be a little bit more vocal and transparent about what's going on so people who can't read between the lines stop attacking her :/ For now I'm just glad we have Ghost EP, NTMT and all the unreleased work. Her potential was completely wasted by these crooked label execs.

Couldn’t agree more with this. I’ll feel so awful for her if say the label confirmed a date and mislead her and then took it away / shelved it again to fuck with her. I do just hope if it happens again this time she’ll speak up and let us know the exact reasons. She’s always said she can’t really be vocal about what’s happened but will one day tell all but I think for her and her fans sake, enough is enough. Maybe the consequences would be harsh? Corrupt Hollywood and their NDAs.
 
I think Sky doesn’t realise the massive support system she has in her fans. I for one would happily contribute to a fundraiser to help her release the album on her own terms or something along those lines.

I love these titles! Selfish Girl is about to go off and I'm excited to hear SIIHY since it was intended to be the album title.

Great interview! She touched on every point I wanted to hear about from her. Before I even heard this I thought to myself, Charli is in a really special time in her career with the contract being up and the album of this sound, from here there are no limitations or expectations for her. She lowkey has solidified her legacy! Sad to hear she essentially feels burnt out after putting out so many records through the years and I hope she takes the time to focus on her personal life after this album campaign is done. 
 
Also, fuck the asshole fans criticizing her! Crash has some really great, fun and vulnerable songs. This album feels fully realized, not that her others didn't, but you can tell she had some things to say and some statements to make. Love it. She's a true star and innovator who went down her own path in the music industry and it's satisfying to see as a fan since the start.
 
Also RIP Sophie. She will be greatly missed forever and also has a legacy that was cemented by her talent, vision and sound.
