Also Nikki saying that it would make her happy if Lana followed a more country direction with her music alarmed me a bit

That makes me so sad .. the fact that she might scrap her lyrics or her initial ideas because she is afraid of constant criticism . One of the many things that made me love her music is her lyricism and the fact that she wasn’t afraid to transfer her thoughts into her art .

Tbh I liked COCC upon first listens but the songs that I have on repeat the last couple of days are Yosemite , White dress, TJF, DBJAG and BUS . I don't listen to the whole album from start to finish . I don't know maybe in some months that will change because I still like it as a whole . I had the same problem with NFR and the things were even worse because when I first listened to it when it got released I was so frustrated when I didn't like many songs on there . As time passed I started to appreciate it more but unfortunately It's one of my least favorites of hers even though I do enjoy more songs on the album that I did initially and that saddens me because I really wanted to like it

I interpreted it in a negative way does that mean that it will sound the same with COCC ?

I cried watching all these performances tbh so thank you very much for uploading them here in one thread I seem to forget how much I adore BTD and Paradise and their performances as well . They remind me so much of my early teens and how I fell in love with Lana's music in the first place.
