  1. Sure, no worries at all. We're just having a chat I think you missed the 50 posts about how amazing Grandfather is, how much I love the Taco snippet, and Ocean Boulevard. Honestly, if I sound negative it's because I've been looking forward to this album a lot and for a long time (as I disliked BB a lot, so basically haven't had new Lana music since Chemtrails). Also, I have a bone to pick with her BB producers - I think theyr're a stepdown from Nowels, Antonoff, Hayne, etc. So, I will probably be ranting about their production. Just ignore it.
  2. Gees. Was only discussing it. Wasn't implying that it's NOT a sexy album. I was asking a question. Chill. Also, to whoever said i'm "shitting" on Lana, I'm not. I'm just slightly underwhelmed with a few of the tracks at the start of it. Peace.
  3. The poster made a point that it's her sexy album,. So, I asked "why is Fingertips on it then?" What aren't you getting?
  4. I do think Candy Necklace will be one of the bigger tracks, maybe even a single. 1. It's placement on the tracklist. 2. The fact it's got John Baptiste on it. 3. That Lana teased it on social (and only that song. 4. I also reckon that with so many collabs, one of the singles must be a collab. (Like Lust for Life was off Lust for Life). 5. feel like it's going to be an upbeat track (because the other John Baptiste track is pretty moody, they can't both be), which is great for a single. Especially the album announcement single (following two pretty dark and moody singles).
  5. so it's her "erotica"? I guess it makes sense with AW as the single, the cover and lines like "fuck me to death". Now what on earth are fingertips and sweet doing on it tho.'Couldnt be less sexy.
  6. In that Eillish interview, she mentioned the "biggest shoot she's ever been on". I have a sneaky suspicion that Interscope has put some money into an MV for a track that's a banger. Maybe it's for Peppers or one of the other tracks. But, knowing Lana, she could also spend a million dollars on Sweet just because she personally likes the melody. Either way, the last LDR video with a 100 million views was Doin' Time. They must have realized MVs for ballads just don't work nowadays. At least, I hope they did. Hopefully, Lana gives us one smoking hot video this year. My guess: March 24th to really announce the album with a bang. And she'll post it on that Ocean Blvd account. You heard it here first!
  7. Very well said! I guess I just wish she didn't release understated songs so often. Because a lotta people who used to listen to her are like "oh she's so boring/depressing now." But then you hear the album(s) and go "omg, Wild at Heart" or "Grandfather" and you're like, "why aren't these not singles??"
  8. I'n not saying the two we've got weren't great. I 'm saying Grandfather would have been even better. I look forward to having this discussion once people hear more songs off the record.
  9. Born to Die Ultraviolence Norman Fucking Rockwell! Ocean Boulevard Chemtrails Lust for Life Violet Honeymoon Blue Banisters (ugh this album, it ruins every list)
  10. grandfather would have been one of her best openings of all time. Right up there with Born to Die. Can't believe she didn't realise that herself. 😩
  11. 1. Venice Bitch 2. Ride 3. Video Games 4. Blue Jeans 5. West Coast 6. Born to Die 7. Young & Beautiful 8. Mariner's Apartment Complex 9. Did You Know That There's a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd? 10. White Dress But it changes. Puh-lease! Just because someone doesn't like the same song you like, it makes them an LDR nincompoop or a music culture fail? Get real.
  12. No. Wait for the album. I kinda hate it that i listened to the song out of sequence. And the "rosemean exclusive baby" crap is annoying af.
