lana said that if you want to know anything about her you should listen to BB but that makes no sense to me. if you want to know lanas life story i feel like ocean blvd is the album to listen to

i think im coming around on the album a bit more. like another user mentioned, its not an easy listen in the way that theres interludes and sonically, it feels a bit broken up. however, individually, all of the songs are amazing (some more than others) and its a great album. i guess i was hoping for more of a soundtrack vibe. i think if the whole album had the sonic theme of fingertips->taco truck it would be amazing. just light, airy, and fun in some spots. but that would leave out some of the best tracks in the album. i just really like that light n airy sound for lana and paris, texas has become one of my favorites.

i think the melody is closer worthly but the lyrics and jack make it totally unworthy 💀 i would be so upset

i wouldnt do what she does but i admire her strength and pure heart. i adore her and find her life story to be so interesting but im glad i dont *heavily* relate to a lot of the things shes done

totally agree. lana herself wasnt the biggest fan of COCC and BB. plus her style is in a transition right now. its bound to not be super focused or well thought out and thats okay. BUT that doesnt mean we cant point it out. like you said, ocean blvd is a step in the right direction but im not totally in love with it.

also i want to thank everyone for not getting aggressive n allowing a more negative discussion to take place. i love lana so dearly. ive been a fan since Paradise n would never actually hate on her or spread negativity about her. but its nice to talk about our different opinions
