I personally don't think anything is off, she's just trying to enjoy her marriage and time with her family, hence some things were postponed. I still think we will be getting Lasso at some point in 2025 and even more tour dates. Also someone said that she's maybe distancing herself from music, I guess it might feel that way but she said countless times that writing and singing is a major part of her life. She maybe has different things she wants to concentrate on now, but I don't think she will totally step aside from her music career, maybe we won't be getting as much of music from her like we used to do, but she will always be there. It might be my wishful thinking by I really do think she is just taking her time with her marriage, love life and family, and that more excellent projects are to come. 
 

Something is definitely off but I don't think country music is to blame. I think she really was following her gut with Lasso and then something shifted in the last few months 

I'm keeping optimistic. She's getting to know the alligators better so she can have them feat background vocals in the songs. in true fishtail swamp style form

The 2 singles being the tough remixes is beyond evil

I mean Tyler the Creator just announced his new album today and it's coming Monday October 28. I could see Lana doing a short turn around like that but not until next year. I don't think we're getting any singles this year, either. She was def talking about the Tough remixes which is so funny I can't even be mad at her.

The fact that NFR had its lead singles 11 months before the album and snippets from every song but one it's what made it an awful rollout (up until the summer).
 
Lasso is annoying cause we had a casual announcement and even an approximate date and nothing happened (and her latest reaction to any album mention doesn't help) but it hasn't really started yet... as long as we don't have any music out I'd consider it just an in between albums period (with a bit of extra annoyance).
 
The proper Lasso era could start and end in the next 6 months and I wouldn't even be surprised

As it is still not clear exactly which direction it will take, it seems as if there is a lot simmering in the background. Otherwise she would have already given us some hints in her posts. Apart from the Stagecoach Festival in April and a few vague interviews, however, there don't seem to be any major clues. Her marriage could mean she has a bit more time on her hands. However, it's not clear if she's done recording the upcoming album or still ahead of it. A possible single could have been released long ago, even if the album isn't quite finished yet. The release of Tough with Quavo was perhaps just a “stalling project” to bridge a longer waiting period. Then she suddenly started talking about Southern Gothic. It's also strange that she released a country single in December 2023, then gave us a Henry snippet and then we haven't heard anything in that direction at all. But somehow it all seems to lead to the south-east of the USA, where she now lives with Jeremy.

Still dying to know if this is just a random photoshoot or a music video

I don't see an album dropping until April at the earliest. This is just my *personal opinion* but I think she is in the middle of -- and this album will serve to be a bit of -- a reinvention. She reached several more career peaks in 2024 and her fame is at an all time high. Other than the recent BF drama she seems pretty carefree and to be having a ton of fun with her career / in life. She got a lot off her chest with COCC, BB and OB and this new era could be a great chance for her to lean into something completely new. Kind of like when she took on the role as a baddie poet in between LFL and NFR. She should take her time with visuals and let the era breathe. If she hadn't said anything in February we wouldn't even know about Lasso. Until we get an official first single (praying it wasn't Tough) I don't think we've really kicked off the new album era. Hopefully it begins this month or October with single #1 and we can finally get a glimpse of her vision for where she wants to go next.

We are ignoring the fact that she's in New York City!!! Everytime she spends time in NYC she delivers one of her best albums, like Honeymoon or Ocean Blvd!!! I was literally thinking few days ago about those days when she was in NYC, I lowkey wished her to be in New York this month, well now I got it, hahah! 

She debuts a new strange boyfriend before every new era the last few albums LDR10 is coming 

Hmmmm. The email about the Pop Up and Merch. They're definitely preparing for the Lasso rollout. 

ok so I never listen to songs Lana debuts live or snippets bc I prefer listening to full songs but today I deciced to listen to HBB, Henry, and I must be stupid and omfg  she sounds so beautiful and the melodies are on point Lana I swear to God just do SOMETHING 
 
I didn't like prettiest girl in country music though and I'm not even a Nikki Lane hater but idk maybe the studio version is good 

Her headlining Head Coach really makes me believe the album will be out before April…
