Fingertips is a stunning track with an experimental, incredibly diaristic style 
A&W 7+ minutes

i love when lana experiments with her singing style (white dress, dealer etc) so i just know fingertips is about to be a serve 

i bet that Lana is already ending LDR10 

Who am I kidding? I probably won't be able to either, but I really hope she doesn't release A&W before the album. I want us all to have a collective meltdown together on March 10th.

I'm so with you!! I'll only listen to a song if its a shorter one or something like Candy Necklace that seems like it could be a lead single. No way will be I listening to songs like A&W, Fingertips or The Grants before that album is released. I need to save them for the full experience

I'm so happy BOZ said that the album is a full experience. It seems like it has variety but it will be cohesive or has a good flow. Ive been so intrigued by this line since it came out in the interview omg

I think "meditative tibetan throat singing" was his way of refering to Lana's "automatic singing" 

For this new music, there’s none of that at all. It’s more just like: I’m angry. The songs are very conversational. For the first song, I pressed record and sang, “When I look back, tracing fingertips over plastic bags, I think I wish I could extrapolate some small intention or maybe get your attention for a minute or two.” It’s a very wordy album. So there’s no room for color. It’s almost like I’m typing in my mind.
 
There's almost no color in Ocean Blvd either, I feel like she's accurately described an album for once

Omg I am HYPED for this song. 

I just read that part of the interview, and for me, it seems like she was saying that Fingertips is just the first song that she made for the record 

Although I read that interview a couple of times, I’m still not sure  Back in May, this is what we thought, but maybe we’re wrong. 
one thing is for sure though: the song must be very special for Lana if she mentioned it back in May and did include it in her thank you note (surely a « Hope » situation, when she is happy because she didn’t think the song could be done)

still wish this album just came out all at once 😭 especially after BOZ said it’s better experienced as one body of work. tbh i would’ve preferred her announce it in january without a single but with a snippet of a song or two in an album trailer, and then the whole album at once digitally in feb, and then physical release in march
