Grimes Coachella 2024 – Weekend 1 – April 13th
This obviously got the heaviest edit, I fixed most issues and removed any interruptions/speech re-mixing the tracks to regularly flow into the next.
I included the full Genesis (Nightcore) mix she began playing at the end of the set before it got cut off.

Setlist:
Grimes Coachella 2024 – Weekend 2 – April 20th
The edit on this is a little lighter, I fixed the few issues she stumbled upon and again removed interruptions/speech interfering to the regular flow of the mix.
Alea iacta est (Intro) is nothing but the audio from that camp of a video she played and the beginning of the set haha.

Both sets were, of course, finally remastered.
Enjoy, and pls let me know should you hear any other mistakes I did't fix and I'll do that.

We got from the river, for sure, I keep the angel, 9 ambient tracks, Coachella set, untitled (demo), all of which in the past year I believe. We’ve been eating and not even knowing it. Thanks meemaw

It may have been true at the time she said this, that she wasn't listening to Lana and hadn't since UV, probably due to a bit of irritability with her comparisons to her. But she seems to like her again if she's adding fishtails into her playlist. I guess she's more confident as an artist now and knows that her music is nothing like Lana's (because its not) - she's definitely got a very distinctive sound imo. Although i can also see why some comparisons are made because there are some clear inspirations, but there is nothing wrong with that. Every artist is inspired by someone, even if unaware

I'm also totally happy with the new album. Of course it's different to WWT but still very good. Especially "Best Junkie You Adore"

Traumatic Livelihood is a fantastic album. It's so cohensive- much more than WWT, and her sound is even more indescribable now. It reminds me more of early 2000s pop or alt pop. I love it so much. I have to say the first half of the album stands out more, but the rest a beautiful additions. I literally can't say a negative thing. It's a huge win for me. I loved WWT for its metal influence but it had a few skips and I have to say TL doesn't have any The sound is even more addictive. It's like something you can vibe to more as well.

she been saying shit its kinda the reason I love her she got that uncompromisable legacy she's kinda like an older generation's Grimes (even tho Grimes' was compromised )

I agree so hard... Utopia is too slow and heavy sounding to be "light" or "heavenly" imo, no matter what the lyrics are like. and I agree, I love Fossora but using mushroom music samples would have been so so cool. people have also made dirt/plant music so those could've been used too sigh

i know it's her boyfriend but can she please stop working with men she's got what it takes to create sonical masterpieces, she doesn't need anyone else when it comes to making art and all of her previous albums are a great proof of that

I agree. I think whatever was happening in her vocal production on Vulnicura and Utopia was certainly...a choice for the darker nature of the albums. I don't care what she says about Utopia, it is not her "light" album at all, it's still very much rooted in darkness and heavyness for me. Anyway, Fossora definitely feels and sounds like a return to form and I hope she continues that with the next record. Fossora could have been pushed further I think, like where was the sampling of mushroom music? It may have been TOO obvious but not even on one track? Kind of strange to me.

bit random but björk was just on live tv, I was so shocked it was a performance from the 90s

When we do get this or any more poetry, I hope we get it on streaming. I NEED to be able to listen to them officially from her Spotify page
Also side note, I wonder if Kaiman Kazazian did the cover for this book, because she said an illustrator did the cover and Kaiman did illustrations for Ocean Blvd around the same time so it would make sense

iirc she said 15 years to finish the music, books, AND movies for all 3 albums. not 15 years for the music only

Yes, it is official. She confirmed it on Instagram.
It was originally made for Big Juicy (so 2016? maybe) but was only finished/released now.
She communicates via Instagram (@ayeshaonline69) not Twitter, nowadays. She's gone live a few times iirc. Her management is @thedollsmanagement and her boyfriend is @yvncc

oh wow, she was right when she said stan culture infested this fandom
she just released a devastatingly beautiful song about a horrifying genocide happening, if you think its boring fine but hold your tongue and dont say anything if you really hate it. i want the b-sides as much as anybody else but this is not the time
