i am thinking i might get the pink bc i like it so much more than the green but it is so hard to choose. i long for the good old days when there would be one alt cover & i would not be expected to make decisions (i am a woman, decisions are hard)

are you just saying that bc you see christianity as a cult? i will admit i am not too fond of megachurches but they are not exactly cults. at least not in the way some socially acceptable groups are (for my own safety, i will not elaborate)

why do we all hate the pastor? is it just anti-christian sentiments? i will admit as a catholic i would have preferred a priest to a pastor but i am fine with a pastor. i understand he is her friend so it makes sense. personally as a christian in today's world, it is quite inspiring that lana does not shy away from her religion.

personally in my mind since the album says on the cover that it is her ninth, i am counting it like: aka->btd->uv->hm->lfl->nfr->cotcc->bb->dykttatuob if it said tenth, i would have excluded aka & counted paradise & violet, but if it is ninth then aka remains while paradise & violet get "mini side project" status. i would not count paradise while excluding violet bc that would be madness & makes no sense

so if i end up getting a choice do i want the pink or the green? tough choice. i told myself i can only get one or the other bc i do not have a lot of money at the moment. i am assuming already the pink might be more rare plus it is so cute but green will probably be easier for me to find hmmm (yes i am mostly talking to myself out loud here)

i would play the uo editions of ultraviolence & honeymoon on my bad record player before i got my good one & that haunts me to this day but they still sound great so maybe it was not really a big deal. luckily most records are pretty durable

a good turntable is a pricy investment but it is worth it if you are going to listen to vinyls regularly. i used to have one of those cheap suitcase style ones but so many albums skipped on it but then i got a good quality turntable for christmas 5 years ago. every year i have had to replace the needle & i have had to replace the belt once so far but overall it is worth it. lana albums sound especially nice on vinyl. i cannot wait to spin lana's upcoming album

i wonder how many songs the new album will have & i wonder if it will be 1 or 2 discs & i wonder how many different coloured variants there will be & i wonder what colours they will be & i wonder how many alternate covers there will be (if any). i just hope she releases all the alt covers when the album comes out bc it was so stressful when she released the superior cotcc alt cover like half a year later

i love how lana's asking us "did you know" and it seems lots of people don't know about the tunnel but after this song/album i bet it will be packed lol queen of restoring relevancy to places & things long forgotten

i think everyone is hyping themselves up too much about the new record. neil did photography for the last 2 records too & "insiders" said each of those records were much better than the ones that came before. & comparisons to older records of hers is always dangerous & never rings true. i am getting the vibe that this new record will have elements of all the previous ones especially since it is her 10th & that is special, but i will not get my hopes up on a random feeling & i am ready to be wrong about everything. we should just wait & trust that lana will deliver no matter the sound or aesthetics. i am sure some fans will dislike the new record & others will love it.

no i saw her interview but how donwe know the album is coming now & she is not announcing it coming like 6mos from now? ok this is interesting. so i guess she is likely preparing a preorder. i hope so.

she will probably reach a point where she will slow down & not release albums as frequently so at least 20 seems reasonable. but i could also see her releasing even more. bob dylan's released like 40 albums or something & i could see lana following suit.

i know the discussion is over but i feel like there are 3 correct ways to count lana's albums. first there is her official studio albums which includes aka but not paradise & violet which makes her upcoming album ldr9. second there is her major label releases (the way lana counts them) which includes paradise & violet but not aka which makes her upcoming album ldr10. lastly there is the complete way which includes aka, paradise & violet which would make her upcoming album ldr11. i see all these ways as valid but i usually tend to lean towards the way lana counts them just bc it is her art. but regardless of how you count her albums, we can all agree it is iconic that no one quite knows how to count them & it will probably continue to get even more confusing in the future. plus we all know ldr9/10/11/? is gonna be amazing so who really cares
