she initially started out with a more (pop)punk album (as you can hear from the outtakes and covers she was putting out at the time, like mow the lawn, can you please shut up, allergic to love) and was just working with patrik berger(?) in sweden(?) for a bit then she either got bored/changed her mind or the label didn’t want it and it got merged with the Sucker we know today. 
 
considering she thought whoever would be singing ‘break the rules’ was an idiot she obviously didn’t intend to go the route she went

the stupidest choice ever that song is horrid 

Her label prob added it to tracklist cause it had small tik tok success when it was first released
