  1. I've seen many movies, many of them are my favorites but if I'd choose a movie that would be no.1 in my list then it would be: THE SOUND OF MUSIC There's just something about the movie that is so perfect and heartwarming, all the themes, actors and their acting, chemistry, nature, aesthetics, songs, music...just so magnificent and fascinating. It's so classy too. It's probably the movie I have seen the most too, like over 10 times for sure. I loved it as a child, as a teen and I still love it. The movie is perfect as it is, this is definitely one of those movies that shouldn't be botched with a remake. Definitely deserved all of those Oscars, I'm so glad that it did!

  3. Streaming services have ruined cinema honestly. While I agree that it can be like really comfortable watching movies or series from your laptop or phone but I kind of hate the exclusiveness that revolves around Netflix (or HBO or Hulu) movies and shows. I'm kind of one of those boring people who watch movies and series from TV...
  4. Lynch and Lana are def a great combo. ----- Also I don't know why I didn't mention these series in that earlier post about my favorite series, I probably forgot but Big Little Lies and Nine Perfect Strangers were so amazing series, I loved every episode of them, Nicole Kidman is one of my favorite actresses and she was so good in those series! Honestly, I'm more of a TV show lover than a movie lover. I love watching movies but they end too soon. If you watch a good series with many episodes, then it's a gift that keeps giving
  5. I didn't realise that October is that soon the setlist will probably stay the same?
  6. I realised that ever since I became a fan of hers I had never stopped thinking about her. Like every day I am thinking of her. But like naturally, not in an obsessive way.
  7. Well, yeah I mean everyone can have their own opinions. I have always loved her looks on stage honestly, even the Zimmermann dresses (altho they're not my style)
  8. PRINCESS CHELSEA YOU WILL ALWAYS BE FAMOUS!
  9. Even if the album has no vocals and no instrumentals I would still enjoy it

It's not like Honeymoon = Solar Power, I meant the reception from fans, most of y'all were shitting on Honeymoon like that when it came out in 2015 SP is not a groundbreaking brilliant album but it still has some good songs on it you gotta admit that

I think like some of the sounds and lyrics may really suggest that PH belongs to the early 2010s and Melo to the late 2010s hahah. Solar Power always reminds me of the pandemic madness somehow, but that goes for the other albums that were released in 2020 and 2021 too lol 😭

  18. Super super super happy for you, Elle and your friend! You deserved this! It's so sweet reading stories like these! I also loved how you described the emotion as "neon squiggles & fireworks", that was perfectly said! We love you, our cute Princess!
  19. While the official version of Ultraviolence title track is the best version, my personal favorite is the demo version of the song (the one which was made after Melancholia and before the official album version). I became obsessed with this few days ago and I can't stop listening to it, I just adore Dan Heath's orchestra and the demo just soaks beautifully in the dramatic melancholic symphony, especially when she says "I can hear violins, violins", the real violins play so beautifully in the background. Also the bridge is so beautiful too, I love both bridges of the official one and the demo, but in the demo version, her distant whisper voice saying quietly "I'll be your princesa, you give me my white lines" sounds somehow like last words when someone is dying or something like that. And what I especially love about the demo is that it samples the magnificent, absolutely amazing symphonic intro of Blue Jeans music video which gives me shivers. Melancholia is very very gorgeous and heartbreaking lyrically (it has one of her best lyrics, especially the chorus) but the lyrics don't flow well with the orchestral instrumental. I love Dan Auerbach's production in the official version, it feels more gothic but I somehow love the Dan Heath's demo version's production more because of the orchestra. It's really feels like a Paradise version of the song, like his remix of West Coast, really reminds me of Honeymoon aswell. I just adore the overwhelming soft cinematic tragic orchestra in his productions. I neeeeeed Dan Heath's Honeymoon era songs and demos, I really wonder why Lana scrapped all of their stuff from Honeymoon.
  20. Idk why but there are like bunch of videos recommended to me where Cristiano Ronaldo is wearing traditional Saudi clothes for a promo video and all of them have like Lana songs in the background either Summertime Sadness or Young & Beautiful
  21. Her fans hating country music is so funny, not gonna lie it's not like she's going to deliver generic ass yeehaw white old man Republican type beat country music about donkeys eating hay. There's always depth in her music. She even called Video Games and Ride country songs.
  22. These are one of her most relatable yet crewtive yet simple yet beautiful yet poetry lyrics ever, this song hits every time I listen to it, especially the rock version
  23. I made a post about this in a different thread and I still listen to some of those songs here: Also these two songs, which I have talked about earlier: Florence + The Machine's Over The Love sounds exactly like a song from Born To Die, especially with the beats because it was produced by Emile Haynie, also in the beginning, the song samples Lana's breaths from the intro of Burning Desire! Lana allegedly sampled Princess Chelsea's No Church On Sunday in Heroin!
