It's so sassy, it's like a soundtrack for a girl coming out of age school movie. When I became a stan, I did have some few very weird misinterpretations: Many years ago, when I listened to West Coast, I always used to think this song and especially that line: "I can see my baby swinging, his Parliament's on fire and his hands are up" was about how Lana introduced the life of West Coast to her British boyfriend who is an arsonist and who set a fire to the British Parliament building and I also thought it was a reference to Claude Monet's painting of that building, when I thought that it was on fire until I realised it was a sun But how did I find out the real meaning? When I was in a store, there was a guy who wanted to buy cigarettes and he told the cashier that he wanted Parliament and when I heard it I was like and when Lana made the smoking hand gesture in live shows while singing West Coast I understood the song way more than I used to. Also when I listened to High By The Beach for the first time I thought that "getting high" means feeling closer to heaven or "going upstairs to feel closer to heaven" or something "Stairway To Heaven" reference, god how stupid I was. When she used that "getting high" line in other songs in drug context and when other singers used that line too, I found out the real meaning lol

It's hard for me to rank Jack Antonoff albums too, to me they're on the same level, they're equal for me, because they mean a lot equally, one of her bests and they're equally beautiful for me too. Violet Bent Backwards means a lot to me too, I was so obsessed with the poems there and I think it's still criminally underrated. I've outgrown my Born To Die and Paradise phase but I still think they're one of her best albums. Sirens is a cute album, but it's not groundbreaking as the albums above, but I'm still thankful for A Star For Nick, such a beautiful track. Out of her released albums Blue Banisters is last because it was released on my worst period of my life ever and every time I listen to this album it takes me back there and it hurts for me to listen to it, sorry. Generally, it's very hard to rank albums and I understand people who have hard time ranking albums too. Although, I really hate this thread because every time I see someone putting Lust For Life last or one of the lasts places, it just breaks my heart to see it and makes me want to leave this thread as fast as I can lol.

I think it's a short nickname, like for example: Here are songs called just as Norman, Chemtrails, Summertime and Ocean Blvd but it doesn't mean they're like alt titles. Just nicknames. Weird is that Candy Necklace is called Candy Necklaces there, but yeah, they call it how they want to.
