  1. Those who have mentioned me and nominated me here, thank you so much from the bottom of my heart! It means a lot to me and I'm so honored. You're the kindest and sweetest people here, very supportive and always had made my day!!! I'll post my picks and recommendations later today and I think I'll post my 'for your consideration' later as well!
  2. Thank you for your kind words Elle!!! This place would truly be nothing without you!!! You're so sweet and hard-working, a true diamond of the fandom! An icon, a legend!
  3. If @venice biotch doesn't win anything or if her LDR As A Rat Thread doesn't win Thread Of The Year I'm going to be furious

Lanaparadiserey and Elle speculated about it as well!
  5. it was one of the most iconic moments of the year! somehow february 2024 feels like lifetime ago but i still remmeber that day like yesterday!
  6. i wonder how many covers this album will have. if it even has a one. i wouldn't be surprised if it has stand by your man. or even unchained melody (but it doesn't feel country or americana at all). i still think that take me home country roads was a grammy promo or for american standards and classics. i don't hate that song, i don't know why so many people hate that cover. like yeah, it's not something i would listen to all the time but i think her vocals are great in it, like the tone of her vocals really reminds me of her vocals in 2013 unreleased songs.

  12. I haven't seen that many movies this year because most of these will be out earlier next year where I live but so far, it seems to be a bit weaker year for movies compared to last year and it also seems that 2019 still won't be topped for me. But what I do think is that Dune 2 will sweep the technical categories like cinematography, editing and effects. As it deserves to be honest, it was visually epic. But I think that there will definitely be a lot of competition in the acting/directing categories because these many of the possibly nominated actors have very high chances of winning. This year seems to be a less sweepy years as the previous two, perhaps it is more interesting to see different winners and juicy competition lol! I really hope that Demi Moore gets nominated because she was so good in her role. I really hope that The Substance - one of the best movies of the 2020s - will get a lot of nominations but knowing The Academy, they don't have a good relationship with horror movies for some reason. It will definitely win or will at least be nominated for Best Make-Up. Also imagine if Margaret Qually gets nominated for an Oscar and she wins and "when you know you know..." part from Margaret gets played in the background I haven't seen Anora and The Brutalist but they seem to be neck and neck in those important categories but I think that Anora will get Best Picture, Best Actress and Best Original Screenplay and The Brutalist will get Best Director and Best Actor. OR Anora gets Best Director and The Brutalist gets Best Picture (judging by their chances and also film descriptions). I really want to see these films, the reviews from both critics and the general public are crazy great, Anora seems to be a wild ride in the best way possible and The Brutalist seems to be a really epic one (and I absolutely love architecture). I also think that Emilia Perez might be the dark horse and may actually win Best Picture (since it also got so many Golden Globes nominations) but I also read that it's contoversial because the portrayals of trans and Mexican people were offensive? I haven't seen it. I haven't seen Conclave but I have a feeling that it will be boring? Like, it seems to be like a theatre play which centers around one place and people (the Vatican). I don't know, I'm lowkey surprised it has got a lot of nominations (at the Golden Globes and Critics' Choice). Nevertheless, I still want to see it, I do think that the cast performances and the cinematography (based from the trailer) will be good and I'd be happy if Ralph Fiennes wins because he's a great actor and for me it would conpensate the Oscar snub for his amazing role in The Schindler's List, perhaps The Academy would give him Best Actor for his career achievements because we have seen from the latest years, how much they love to give awards for actors who have had long careers without an Oscar. I don't know but considering the current political climate - how much would Trump's election victory affect the results? Because I remember in 2017 everybody thought that La La Land would win Best Picture and Moonlight won instead then many people speculated that it won as a statement because of Trump's victory. And also, since Anora seems to be Russian centered movie, I have seen some backlash from Ukranians and maybe if it actually wins Best Picture, it would maybe stir more controversy? I don't know. Wicked seems to have great chances as well, I do think that it will be nominated and will actually win for both Best Production Design and Best Costume Design (similarly how Poor Things won these awards together). Ariana has a great chance of winning as well (neck and neck with Zoe Saldana), it would be cool if she wins while I'm not her biggest fan but I'm proud how far she has come. Same with Selena Gomez as well! Although I'm hesitant on watching Wicked and Emilia Perez because I'm not the biggest fan of musicals. Either way, there seems to be a resurgence of musical pictures this year and in early 2021 I predicted that musicals will start to dominate the movie industry in the mid-2020s, so we'll see how it will roll out eventually. I'd be surprised if The Complete Unknown will be nominated for Best Picture because (well, based on the trailer) it doesn't really give me epic vibes like other music biopics like Bohemian Rhapsody or Elvis gave (although...I didn't really like Elvis besides the lead performance). Sing Sing was really acclaimed when it was released but seems like it was overshadowed by other releases this year. I really want to see A Real Pain, I love Kieran Culkin, he's amazing and I'd be happy if he wins. I'm also lowkey sad that Saoirse Ronan has narrow chances of winning because she's an absolutely amazing actress who always gets snubbed at award shows. Am I only one who doesn't like when movies are released in the later quarter of the year (like in October, November, December)? I know that they do this because these are released during the awards season but as someone who doesn't live neither in the US and UK, I hate to wait for like 3 months until the movie gets released in my country (and it's always like January or February when I'm busy). The best time for watching movies in cinemas for me will always be Summer (or Spring). I always write long essays about films, jesus christ

  19. Also I think that Ocean Blvd has better mastering than Blue Banisters because literally on the first listen of the some song's lyrics on Blue Banisters (If You Lie Down, Beautiful, Violets For Roses, Black Bathing Suit), they sounded incomprehensible without reading the lyrics on YouTube. Ocean Blvd felt more understandable on the first listen. I think that Drew Erickson tracks has way worse mastering than Jack tracks. Jack tracks mastering is alright for me, it's not flawless though, same with Lust For Life.
  20. Honeymoon is her best mastered album. I love Born To Die but I feel like some songs are overmastered, like too polished. Paradise had less overpolished mastering in my opinion except some songs like some pointed out.
  21. Blue Skies is one of her best covers. So is Goodbye Kiss. Riverside is perhaps her best featured song, I don't know why but it feels so her, even though she's not the main singer of it. The atmosphere of the song especially. White Mustang/TNBAR music video is one of her best music videos, absolutely beautiful visuals. LA To The Moon Tour is her best tour, the setlist of it was just absolutely amazing and I love how almost every show it was changed a bit to replace or add some songs. Swan Song is perhaps her top 10 best songs lyrically, at least for me.
  22. I really love this, beautifully done! I also love how realistic Lana looks on the cover, was the photo of her made with AI or is it a body/face manip?
  23. I absolutely love this interlude! I have always liked it but I have grown to love it more recently because I realised how eerily melancholic it sounds? Like the cat constantly meowing (or like the title says - crying) and the humming and the melody in the end which reminds me of like...surrending in an apocalypse/world ending and trying to comfort someone (probably the cat in this context) with the humming. This song really gives me huge Lykke Li vibes and it's definitely something she would've had in her debut album Youth Novels or even in her second album Wounded Rhymes (well, probably without the meowing cat). It's so eerie and sad, the interlude feels also timeless for me.
