Second version sounds very similar to the first one, so don't really know 1) if it's real 2) if I even want to download it, since I'm used to the first version. The starting part of the second version sounds kind of "empty" since there's no drums and it feels like it needs a beat there. Drums also sound really out of place when they finally pop up in the first chorus, as the transition is really abrupt from no drums to drums. I'll stick to the first version for now, although I do like the very last ending of the second one better.

WOWOWOWOWOW Simmer Down is amazing. First song I've heard from her solo project but now I am HYPED for if she's got an album coming out.

Have been listening a lot to her album 'Blue' and it's fantastic. So ethereal and the cover is so stunning. I will definitely have to check out the rest of their albums and her solo project.

Just watched the documentary and wow it was so emotional, I cried about three times watching it. Interesting to get a bit of an insight into her life behind the scenes and her struggle with her mental health and her physical injuries.

A few days ago, Marina posted a new article on her blog, about the psychological effects of social media, in particular, Instagram. An interesting read, but I also feel sad reading it. She's claiming that she got nothing out of using Instagram, that it "gave her nothing back", but the way I see it, social media has allowed her to connect to her fans and if it weren't for these platforms, she would barely have any promotion for her music (although, I suppose that's what she wants since she hates being famous ) http://marinabook.co.uk Honestly, this sounds horrible, but I sort of want the old Marina back. Like, not really. But I just wish she was more motivated to release some new music. I don't need her to be as ambitious as in TFJ or EH eras, since her health is obviously important as well, but I do miss the days where she was actually releasing something. I am dying for a new Marina album but it looks like she won't be delivering the goods for another few years at this rate.

Sweet Dreams is my fave thing so far this era. Love the cover art too (did Chuck actually take the photo?? Is this her first good photoshoot? lol) Excited for the whole album. The music is quite promising and sounds like it is similar to the first album but a little bit more ethereal and surreal than the first. Do we know when the album is expected to come out?

Not a bad song. Will probably give it another chance when the whole album comes out since Im really busy now.
