Listened to the album in full including the bonus tracks and it's OK. No real standout tracks to me but it's a pretty solid effort. Some of the lyrics are extremely tacky and cringe worthy but at least the production saves these tracks

Do you know what I would LOVE? A whole album with songs like Scab and Plaster, Miss Y and Sinful! I miss these kinds of songs... I know they are only unreleased so she probably never thought too much of them, but they are actually really good and it's a shame we never got an album with these sorts of sounds.

I'm excited to see what her "paradise" album will sound like. I think it will be a nice break from Vulnicura, which really is like "hell" as she described. And I agree, I think she's probably still doing a lot of this stuff for the $$ and maybe just because she likes the songs and is feeling really inspired this era. Either way, I hope she'll move on soon. I need to hear new material from her!

same. The Notget video is stunning and I love the symbolism of healing and regrowth, it works beautifully. But yeah, I would love some new music - Vulnicura is not an album I can listen to that often because it's so emotionally draining for me

I haven't started watching season 4 yet, so I can't personally comment, but seeing as it's focused on Sana, I think a lot of people probably just want another season with the Isak/Even storyline at the forefront, since this is the story that seems to have resonated the best with a lot of viewers. I'm personally excited to see Sana at the forefront, as I think she is an interesting character and I'd love to get to know her character I bit better, but yeah, I'm a bit sad thinking that it won't be from the perspective of Isak this season seeing as he's my fave character

Well, if this means we get Roses Bloom For You studio version I'm totally here for it. Hopefully they keep the production nice and simple, I'd even be happy with just the piano and her voice. It sounded lovely and ethereal in that snippet just with simple instruments like that. As long as they don't Coachella it this could be good that she's still in the studio

Preach! What Even he wrote in the text also made me so emotional. It was so beautiful and heartfelt plus the music that played. And the way that Isak didn't care that Even is bipolar, he still loved him regardless... ugh so emotional Btw I'm listening to the season 3 Skam playlist on Spotify right now - I love the music they play in this show. I have liked some of Lykke Li's songs before, but the song "Tonight" is beautiful and I'd never heard of it before watching Skam. It plays in the episode where Isak tells his friends to leave because Even is at the front door, and then once they are left, they have their first time. I just cried listening to it in full for the first time because it brought back all the emotions of that scene. wow I am such an emotional mess because of this show (and I have an exam tomorrow but I'm just sitting here crying over a fictitious character )

Just watched episode 10 of Season 3 where Isak comes out to his mother, Even has a manic episode you find out that he is bipolar, and even though Isak doesn't quite understand he gets back with him and they kiss. It's super embarrassing but I cried so much watching the end of that episode. I'm not the kind of person that cries often, especially not from television series, I rarely ever get so emotional that I cry over fictional storylines but this episode just really fucked with my emotions. I had to clean my glasses, they were soaked in water. Literal footage of me watching the ending to that episode... The next episode is the season finale for S3 and I'm getting really emotional thinking that this is the last season from Isak's point of view. He's come so far since the first episode of the series, I'm so so happy for him.

Honestly, it sounds a lot like Best American Record to me but I know it's not since that's not released yet. Is it Love? This is hard and I feel like a flop fan right now lol

omg aghhhhhh I JUST WATCHED THE EPISODE WHERE EVEN AND ISAK RIDE ON A BIKE TOGETHER AND THEN BREAK INTO SOMEONE'S INDOOR SWIMMING POOL AND PUSH EACH OTHER IN THEN PLAY A GAME WHERE THEY HAVE TO SEE WHO CAN BREATHE THE LONGEST UNDERWATER AND THEN EVEN FUCKING GOES FOR IT AND KISSES ISAK!!! AND THEN ISAK NEEDS TO BREATHE AND HE GETS UP AND THEY'RE LIKE FLIRTING AND THEN THEY HAVE A REPLAY AND THEN ISSAAAAAKKKKKKKKK KISSSESSSSS EVEEEEEENNNNNNN!! I AM SO HAPPY FOR THEM AND HONESTLY I DIDN'T THINK THIS WOULD HAPPEN SO EARLY ON IN THE SEASON BUT THIS IS EVERYTHING I LIVE FOR!! Let's be real here... we all know she is going to milk the next two months teasing us and trolling us every day, especially since she has so much material to use - practically 16 tracks we haven't heard yet.

Just started season 3 and I am LIVING for this season already. Isak has always been one of my favorite characters right from the start, he seems sweet, but sort of influenced by what others around him are doing and struggling to find who he is and express himself, so I've been waiting and waiting for his storyline to develop, and well, here I am and I'm so excited. The last episode I watched, he goes over to Even's house and they eat and have a drink together, then Evan remembers that he'd invited a few friends over, and then he reveals that one of the girls is his girlfriend, and just seeing Isak's little face look down at the floor and knowing how devastating it must have been for him made me so sad. I couldn't get to sleep afterwards because I was so shook and upset. I've obviously seen online that at some point Isak and Even end up together anyway, which is consoling, but I just did not see that whole "Even's got a girlfriend" plot twist coming. It makes me sad seeing people not being able to just be themselves, especially when there's the possibility of a beautiful relationship blooming but the two don't feel comfortable enough with themselves (or other's opinions) to just go for it! Isak and Even are so cute (as individuals and as a pairing) and I can't wait to see them eventually end up together. Also, I NEED to see Isak finally coming out to his friends. Eskild gave him the perfect opportunity to tell him in the last episode, but he didn't take it. Oh well.... guess it will be coming soon. My intuitive powers are telling me that Eskild is going to be the first one to find out Isak is gay (well, maybe Even will first, but idk). Anyway, sorry for posting a bajillion posts a day in this thread but this is literally such an intense series and I can't help but need to vent and share my thoughts about everything.

Wow, I was not expecting her to actually have a rap song on the album. It's a bit hard to make a proper judgment based on the snippet, since it's so short and LQ but it doesn't sound too bad so far. At least it wasn't with G-Eazy, that would have been a real mess. I kinda wish it was just featuring A$AP Rocky though, instead of that other rapper dude (sorry, can't be bothered scrolling through this thread again to find his name ). I know that some of you are pumped for this song, but you need to respect that not everyone will love this song and all these collabs. You can't expect everyone to love every single thing that Lana ever does. We are allowed to critique and state our opinions about songs. Personally, I'm excited to hear how this song sounds in full and especially how it fits into the context of the album, but that doesn't mean that everyone else has to feel the same way. Whether I (and others on here) end up liking this song or not, all I can say is that at least there will be 17 other songs on the album we can hopefully enjoy. And at the end of the day, I like this idea of the record "jumping around a lot". It really sounds like there's going to be a huge variety of genres and styles being explored on this album, which is exciting. I just hope that it doesn't end up sounding like a complete jumble of sounds and hopefully she's considered the ordering of the tracklist carefully so that everything flows smoothly. This might sound kind of cheesy, but I like the concept of combining all these different styles and sounds, it links back to how Lana keeps saying she wants to make a record "for the fans", so hopefully everyone will come together and enjoy the album, with everyone finding some songs on the record that they love. P.S. Lana, please stop tagging EVERY SINGLE DAMN POST with that "Hollyweird" caption. It was cute at first but now it just looks tacky

Oh wow, Bad Together and New Rules final versions are amazing! This album actually isn't as much as a flop as I anticipated it might be. Most of the singles released before the album like Hotter Than Hell, Blow Your Mind (Mwah) and so on are still the best but most of the other songs on the album actually are up to the standard and I can only imagine how much they will all grow on me. At the moment, my overall faves are Hotter Than Hell, Blow Your Mind (Mwah), Room For 2, New Love, IDGAF, New Rules, Homesick and Last Dance. Such great tracks!

Ok thanks for the list! I love the way that a lot of their titles sound (like, the wording of the titles, if that makes sense) and the cover art has always stood out to me from the albums so I will definitely have to give these songs a listen. Again, thanks!
