It doesn't beat my trilogy of favorites (Weak Spot/Water Me/Ultraviolet), but otherwise it's better than her other songs and I'm glad for at least one kind of upbeat straightforward song like this, just to know she can do it. This race for Album of the Year is too real

Do it! I'd see them a million more times. On Kill the Light: I appreciate that the song must mean a lot so they wanted to be able to include it by making it fit in with some slight production changes. I would have liked to see more done but hey it's already a really good song either way. Sensible and Cathedral are my fav brand new tracks if we're not counting Why I Wait (which would still be, like, album new). And I appreciate the funkiness of Sex Drive and Devotion but they really went all out on Sex Drive live with dancing and extended instrumental sections so I guess I would've liked it be at least a little longer to live up to that. I'll have to come back later and rank the songs with pre-heard stuff included. Don't wanna under-rate anything old just yet (though Cut it Out is oddly kinda my least fav already?).

Y'all hatin asses, it's bc the song is good

nacho girl haven't we learned not to criticize other celebrities with our mutual fave?

I've had the DL card that came with the vinyl for two days but Kill the Light and Apples and CIgarettes both cut off! Anyone wanna be a doll? Obv I spent money on them But regardless the album is so good! I hadn't gotten that into the LAS EP tracks so it still feels fresh to me lol. Why I Wait remains the best and Sensible is also great. Live renditions of Apples and Cigarettes and Kill the Light also make those special, if only I could listen to them smh

Two Weeks - FKA twigs

Anthem! These vocals wow Kinda reminds me of her live performances/early demos bc she certainly doesn't give these notes on any EP songs

To be realistic Cruel World Body Electric Ultraviolence Money Power Glory Born to Die Shades of Cool Pretty When You Cry Black Beauty Ride Brooklyn Baby Sad Girl Million Dollar Man Old Money Video Games Summertime Sadness West Coast (synths and guitar jamming for the audience signing outro) I'd add Without You and Cola if I believed her capable of a longer set buuuut

Some of the horrendous ass recommendations in this thread This really saddens me, but if we're speculating...Come on, Dan Auerbach. Jim taught her that loving him was never enough so I guess he's out despite those opening spots I can't believe Lana's on the market... Watch her date Soileau

Fuck yeah thank you so much So it's definitely "weather in the summer" not "winter in the summer," which I was convinced of... The black flew over? Lol idk You're gone, ??? The second verse there is still really difficult

An a cappella demo of Dangerous Girl Bite your hand, PB...You remain so baffling. But I too have a UV playlist (though I didn't really change the album order)...just something to better incorporate the bonus tracks. Focused on moments where I felt there wasn't a great flow from song to song 1. Cruel World 2. Ultraviolence 3. Shades of Cool 4. Brooklyn Baby 5. Angels Forever, Forever Angels 6. West Coast 7. Guns and Roses 8. Florida Kilos 9. Sad Girl 10. Pretty When You Cry 11. Flipside 12. Money Power Glory 13. Fucked My Way Up to the Top 14. Old Money 15. Is This Happiness 16. Black Beauty 17. The Other Woman ITH actually doesn't really fit anywhere. I'd put it at the end if Lana didn't emphasize TOW as the ending track so much.

The first time Lana's ever dropped a necessary letter from her pronunciation
