I hope someone figures out the original pictures used for the collage and untags all the text because it's the only thing that brings it down for me. The splicing is too much.

I thought it was bad because it didn't fit my expectations at all But It's pretty fucking slaying. I just wish they hadn't spliced up the letters

I reviewed Pure Heroine IF YOU CARE (YOU DO): http://lanaboards.com/index.php?/blog/20/entry-225-pure-heroine-track-by-track/ BYE don't do this to me. I don't think she's the type for a re-release but damn we need Good Fights, the unnamed snippet she recorded on NZ television, collaborations--hell, throw in Everybody Wants to Rule the World.

Not to mention Charli XCX's fans, worst Q&Aee(?)s ever. Yes she wrote for Britney. You already KNOW how this album differs from True Romance. Like...

True! If you will, a list of her supposedly bad attitude: LANA DEL REY Shade: Anti-feminist lyrics Everyone forgets: SHE'S A FAN OMG, she's doing what any of us on here are doing just with about 1000% less context AZEALIA BANKS Shade: Called out her twitter beefing Everyone forgets: This wasn't in an interview and this tweet was dug up from pre-fame--not attention seeking TAYLOR SWIFT Shade: Gives female fans ridiculous standards Everyone forgets: She pretty much said on tumblr that she was taken out of context and really respects Taylor and her position as a role model KATY PERRY Shade: Turned down a spot on her tour Everyone forgets: She followed this statement with nothing but RESPECT for Katy SELENA GOMEZ Shade: Anti-feminist lyrics Everyone forgets: I really don't think she likes Selena actually lmao And then this

The entire page of slander in this thread I've come around just slightly to her since then. Whereas there I say I wish her personality wouldn't touch her music, now I'm mostly here for her personality + I'd also be here for her giving Gaga a #1 with a collab

Did someone tell you that? Do you know a real catalog of all the artists she's supposedly "thrown shade" at? Because it is grossly exaggerated.

THEY'RE SO BAD Her thin ass vocals can go home. All four boring melodies can go home. And finally, the "I'd rather she reprised Save the Rhino for an album"-lyrics can go home. @@PrettyBaby those four songs leaked along with Black Beauty etc from Rick Nowels' website. I think it's a good candidate for a promo single, although I kinda suspect that it got cut from the final album because of her recent tracklist delay and this is her way of actually putting it out.
  23. Sitar

    Lorde

The delay in a lot of Europe is so weird! I will never understand labels. But yes that article Also her recent Tumblr post on Taylor Swift kinda clarifies her actual opinion on stars rather than the twisted headline-making one: http://lordemusic.tumblr.com/post/62733047447/can-you-explain-on-what-you-said-about-taylor-swift (@@lola) HOWEVER, there was some scandal that thankfully dodged LanaBoards about her turning down a collab with David Guetta, in apparently rude terms (like an interviewer wrote that she said "fuck no" to her manager when he interrupted said interview). But getting mad over her opinion on David Guetta is pointless. Even Katy Perry turned him down. I have been keeping track of collaborations she's hinted at and we can now add Yoni Wolf to the list with Flume because she totally acknowledged his desire to work with The Lorde and it'll prob happen Like all of the artists she praises I look up and just end up wanting to hear a collaboration. Until the Ribbon Breaks, Sohn, Burial, James Blake, Deptford Goth--like this is her genre! I love her work with Joel Little but I hope she at least has more varied producing credits on the next album.
