It took me two listens to really get the song, tbh. That happens to me a lot with Lana, not sure why, it's like my ears can't exactly comprehend what I'm hearing or understand the melody at first. But once I get into a Lana song it becomes a total earworm and I never really tire of it like I do with songs from other artists that seem catchier at first listen.

I love when she says "Yeah" during the chorus for some reason, I just love the casual/lazy way she's drawling out words in the chorus in general.

How can people think they know how a song is going to sound before actually hearing it and can decide their favorite tracks already?? Like I was expecting some fucking conga flute whatever beach party with Music To Watch Boys To (like Whenever Wherever By Shakira ) and obviously that didn't happen. At this point I don't know what to expect and I like it like that.

So if you listen to the first 3 tracks in order (HM, MTWBT, TLY) they flow really well. I suspect it will be one of those albums that you can play from start to finish (nah we will skip Burnt Norton) and it creates a mood/tells a story and all that.

the album takes a bit of growing, but im liking it. i do find the concept of the album a bit much, 'tag youre it', 'baby dummy', 'i need to go poopy', 'mommy kiss me' ect, its like ok bitch we get it, chill with the references, but yeah.....im not minding the album.

(imagine Lana showed up to a listening party and scared the fuck outta yall and was like "fuck the listening party, I'll sing em live" and hops onto a cute stage in UO and the whole band comes out and she started singing freak and slut dropping in some floral dress but this time with her black 4 inch high hair)

Off-topic but I love the ending of Terrrence Loves You. It sounds so calm and bittersweet with her humming. I feel like I'm relaxing into a peaceful death.
