so I have this idea..and idk if anyone else has come up with it but.. i feel like the title "Honeymoon" may refer to the honeymoon period of not only a relationship or marraige but also perhaps, the honeymoon part of the abuse cycle. 
 
 Reconciliation/honeymoon[edit]The perpetrator may begin to feel remorse, guilty feelings, or fear that their partner will leave or call the police. The victim feels pain, fear, humiliation, disrespect, confusion, and may wrongly feel responsible.[5]
Characterized by affection, apology, or, alternatively, ignoring the incident. This phase marks an apparent end of violence, with assurances that it will never happen again, or that the abuser will do his or her best to change. During this stage the abuser feels overwhelming feelings of remorse and sadness, or at least pretends to. Some abusers walk away from the situation with little comment, but most will eventually shower the survivor with love and affection. The abuser may use self-harm or threats of suicide to gain sympathy and/or prevent the survivor from leaving the relationship. i know this sounds like a reach.. but its at least notable that right after lana releases an album about an abusive situation, she releases one called honeymoon.. its also interesting how.. ever since the release of UV she hasnt exactly been the most outgoing to her fanbase.. she (or at least her management or record label) scraped multiple videos they already teased.. not to mention,although lanas album was an extremely solid album.. it was sort of a let down compared to the over the top beauty and dramaticness of btd/paradise. in a way lana is almost an abuser to us in this situation.. but now shes feels remorse or guilt for what she did.. im pretty sure she said in an interview that she sort of regretted some of the things she did on UV because it was misunderstood a bit.  
so now lana is trying to pull us back in by going back to the way things were in the beginning. bringing back that btd/paradise sound and shooting new videos. 
 
also it sort of highlights how she feels her life is.. things go to shit.. but it all comes around and life gives her enough love and affection to go through it all again. its like a cycle. 
 
i also found that some of the lyrics from dont let me be misunderstood sort of fit this idea.

Totally same about lana stans... like some of yall act like you know exactly what lana is going to do.. if there is one thing i have learned about lana its that the only thing we KNOW she will do is be completely unpredictable! like.. we have video evidence of her band practicing unreleased songs..yet were still NOT AT ALL sure what she will really be doing.. if thats not proof of her being unpredictable idk what is!
 
also.. like she didnt really promote much at first during her last tour! the only tour that she really promoted with was paradise... the american tour last year did nothing till the middle/end when she did a couple ultraviolence songs a few times?  i dont see how you can tell if she is promoting or not yet? considering all we have is an alleged partial setlist... like wait a couple weeks and i bet she will be playing some honeymoon songs just like she did for UV. 
 
also we all thought this would be more of an ultraviolence tour but i dont think lana does tours solely to promo stuff.. i think she wants to create an audiovisual experience and shes chosen certain songs to sort of bring out a mood.. maybe that mood is to sort of ..lead into the honeymoon era mood? last tour she sort of revamped all her songs and intros to be more rocknroll like ..so all the btd and paradise songs sounded more ultraviolencey.. maybe this time shes made more of a jazzier hollywood noir rocknroll grunge mix to embrace honeymoons mood..

Anyway, I think re-recording Yayo for Paradise and releasing Black Beauty for UV even though it was leaked showed us everything's a possibility, at least. I'm kind of over the stans thinking they know exactly how everything's gonna turn out even though they know shit. We do not know what Lana is gonna release - period. But that's what's so great, imo.

Lana's main problem was her reluctance to perform her music. Let face it, this is the mother of all of her problems but I'm not optimistic tbh. I hope the tour will go well for her and maybe she'll be confident enough to do some live TV

And isn't "fame" and popularity a vehicle for artists to create what they want? Without her popularity, she won't be able to put out music, and all of you crying about no promo won't get no music 

byeeeeeeee, nobody is here for another boring era without radio performances, or even a tv perf here and there. The music is not enough, it all gets old real quick if we dont get anything besides videos, and if they arent great then more boring And bye at the chart music mess, it does define trash music often but theres still dome good music that charts

Artists usually film videos for songs right around release, right? I'm hoping she'll do a live premiere Thursday/Friday and release it early next week.

@heartcore- Mariah had 19 number one songs, none of which stand out as being a Mariah Carey song,. They all were interchangeable and Whitney or Celine could have sang them. Nobody was copying Mariah as she was a copy of
many others.
Lana has already had one person after another copying her, her style, her videos (Taylor recently did), and everyone wants to be here.
 
The difference is the Rock Hall of Fame is for unique one of a generation types (though the Hall is Male biased both in who picks the members and the members it picks, but Leonard Cohen, Lou Reed and dozens of others never had
one #1 single after another yet are loved by the hall.
Singles oriented groups like The Monkeys or Chicago or even groups like Moody Blues never get into the Hall. Carole King if not mistaken only entered the Hall in tandem with Geffen as Songwriters, not solo performers.
I doubt Celine Dion will ever make the hall unless the record company really pushed it and Mariah is not a shoo-in either.(see next paragraph-)
 
And the truest difference between Lana and Mariah? Mariah ACTUALLY "F'd her way to the top", being the girlfriend later married for awhile, to the head of Sony records at the time of her signing (and her popularity for the most part ended on their breakup),
while Lana wrote the song as a no, she didn't actually reach the top by doing that and it was written as a retort to the haters who said that.
 
Lana should though release a real Christmas song, perhaps a duet with Leonard Cohen (or Gaga) so that she can be heard at Christmas time when all the stations go 24 hours of Christmas for the Season.
