  1. that’s one of my favorite things about this track. It’s the best aspects of their production in one track, it’s really great
  2. Paint me happy in blue (still wish this was the cover they chose for NFR with those LACMA vinyls, would’ve been iconic with the whole theme of NFR tbh)
  3. I love the I inhale in the beginning so much for some reason, it almost sounds like a siren near the end
  4. I kinda love antihero idk
  5. I think A&W might be some meta type of reference, she’s describing herself as “American” and a “whore”
  6. Really random and not aimed at you at all but TUOB is such an ugly acronym in my head I just hear tube but the full acronym is ridiculously long
  7. I see some people asking why people like this and not BB (mainly Arcadia). The IYLDWM similarities are undeniable and both Arcadia and Tunnel have an orchestra. My biggest thing is that they’re both pretty wordy songs but her delivery in Tunnel just flows so much better. Arcadia just sounds awkward to me at times, like the arteries line. I also think I just prefer the writing on Tunnel than IYLDWM. Tunnel seems a bit more complex and it seems like Lana is really mastering her craft in songwriting here
  8. Ahhh that’s so exciting!! I’d say NorCal, specifically in the SF area near Ocean Beach or Crissy Fields, Sausalito/Marin County, Eureka/Arcata, or DNC (Crescent City). Walking on the beach when it’s cold and foggy is such a meditative and introspective I’d suggest Long Beach also since it’s where the title track is located, but I’m not the biggest fan of the area. There are a bunch of mountains/redwoods surrounding the SF area too if you prefer that! unsolicited sf beach pics <3 definitely amazing places to get high lol (I go to Ocean Beach at least like once a month and just listen to Venice Bitch and it’s amazing)
  9. This is really random but I wish we he lyric was “open me up, killing me softy” I feel like it would sound so good and I would’ve fainted with that reference
  10. This is funny to me because I’m hoping it’ll be another ‘frolicking in a meadow on acid’ song she does have a knack for having some songs sound completely different from what I’m expecting just based on the title alone
