The greatest loss is actually about that one time she went to the drive in and all her cheese curds fell onto the ground and so she got drunk to drink the pain away. Also global warming.

I feel like this song is about how scary life's changes are for her but she has hope that something somehow will ground her into reality ("don't leave I just need a wake up call"). She misses where she grew up, and what she's seeing in the political and real world is scary but also fascinating to her (Hawaii and the false nuke, LA obviously her favorite place in the world burning, her old friend Kanye supporting Trump, David Bowie dying AND life on mars being a literal thing). I'm not entirely sure with the chorus, but "I'm wasted" may be relating back to her history of alcoholism. This is the messiest era I think I have ever experienced. 

I literally- I know y'all won't care but people are comparing Lana to Taylor Swift because she's calling out Kanye, which I think is faulty because (1) Taylor has had beef with Kanye long before the Trump support (she has the right imo as much as I hate her). (2) Lana is actually making this somewhat political, as she's mad at Ye for being besties with Trump, not something he did directly to her. Not only that, but people are calling her racist because she's calling out Kanye and not white people who voted for Trump, which is also faulty because simply the fact that Lana was actual friends with Kanye before all this, so she knows him personally, and Kanye is the only relevant pop culture celebrity (aka the realm that Lana is in too) that I can think of that has not only supported Trump, but has taken pictures with, visited the White House under his presidency, etc. 

Well I was waiting for her to drop it at midnight so I could give her some streams but lemme just listen to the leaked mp3 again
